Best Western Premier Masqhotel

Lovely modern hotel, short walking distance to the harbour and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Very comfortable large bed. Friendly and helpful staff

Pillows a little hard, not enough staff at breakfast so we had a long wait for glasses, mugs and plates and for re stock of certain foods. We requested change of towels by placing in bath as indicated but although our bed was made up the towels were not replaced, used mugs were not cleaned and the tissue box remained empty throughout our stay. Air conditioning did not work properly so the room was a little warm for us. These were all very minor points however and I would still recommend the hotel. We had a lovely stay

The hotel has a very peaceful ambience. From the moment we met the receptionist on arrival we began to destress. Everything flowed from then on. The reception area is beautifully designed , with a range of seating areas and a bar area. The rooms were modern but relaxed, pristine clean, with beautiful up to date bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb. Above all else was the kindness of staff and the genuine ease with which they assisted us throughout our stay. We would have stayed longer if we could and would love to return in the future.

There is nothing we would change. We were sure that if we needed anything it would have been sorted.

Room was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We'd been driving all day, and it was such a relief to find a good hotel, with a spotlessly clean room, with extra pillows, plenty of towels and one of the comfiest beds we've slept in. Although not in the town centre - this is actually a blessing - since the town's vibrant nightlife was was quite noisy. We stayed one night, but would have been happy with longer. The hotel also provided secure parking.

We felt €14 each for a coffee and pastry at breakfast was a little expensive, so we passed on that. The hotel location was a bit bland, and devoid of any shops or cafes or places of interest - but the benefits of a quiet night outweighed the negatives of a bad nights sleep.

We stayed here with our two teenage girls who had the bedroom next door . The location is excellent very close to the station and a short stroll to the centre. Staff were great to arrange a taxi for us to the airport the following day . Bedrooms were spotlessly clean and very comfy mattresses. I will return here for the perfect location and comfortable rooms.

The cost of breakfast - 20 euro per person but that’s probably normal enough

Everything! -environmentally conscious -helpful staff (especially Loicia & Clement) -lovely bright hotel -great location. 2 minutes walk to la Gare (train station) and about 5-7 minutes walk to the quay and restaurants. -secure underground parking -spacious bedroom and bathroom -great overnight stop while driving to St Malo. More to see in La Rochelle than we realised! -no evening restaurant but a good choice of freshly made food that the hotel can warm up for you to have in your room. Lots of restaurants nearby to dine in.

friendly multilingual reception. I arrived in a transit van with height just under 2.0m. the hotel has its own limited parking with a chargeable fee at the time 12 euros. Onstreet parking is available and seemed relatively safe. The staff arranged for me to park outside and fees start at 9.00am no charge after 20.00. Room was comfortable and it appeared that hot soup was available outside service hours in reception which was a nice touch. The outside lighting acts as a beacon in quite a dark but safe area. ideally located for early departures to main traffic routes and within easy walking distance of the main centre of la Rochelle. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water always welcome. Nearby local minimarket seemed to be popular with residents for that late evening snack.Tea and coffee machine available in room together with limited stocked minibar Dinning and reception room looked nice please see pictures.

Very nice hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Bright, uplifting rooms. TV stations for most languages. Fridge in the room. Plus kettle and coffee machine.

Breakfast wasn't great, especially for people with nut allergy (deadly), gluten/wheat intolerant, vegetarians or vegans. Good for anyone that likes greasy sausages and cheap bacon, chocolate cereal and carb stodge. Finding the plates, glasses and cutlery is a challenge too. I will bring my own breakfast next time.

Amazing location , close to the restaurants and shops with only 5 mins walk. Train station is 1 min away and came to use when you cannot find any taxis available for airport. You can jump in D5 bus for only €1.30 a journey and takes around 30 mins to get to the airport. Taxis are charging a fortune , between €40 and €70 for 15 mins journey. The room was very cleaned with a lot of details and the bed was so comfortable. Definitely I will return to Premier Masqhotel.

The hotel is very convenient for the station and the walk into town was pretty and relaxing. The room was bright, very nicely furnished and clean; it was well proportioned and uncrowded. The bathroom was nicely decorated and lacked nothing but as you'll read below, we had problems getting out of the shower/bath. The kettle and coffee maker were much appreciated. The large TV was discretely mounted on the wall so didn't take up much room There was plenty of useable space for clothing. We didn't have breakfast or lunch in the hotel, preferring to grab a croissant and coffee in town and we didn't use the bar, there being zillions a short walk away.

we found the step from the bath to the floor to be challenging. The grab rail helped but it was still precarious for us, and we're reasonably mobile for oldies. The bed (160cm) was harder than we like and the oxford pillows were too soft - we hate those square ones.

This is a fabulous hotel - we loved it. The rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable. The public areas on the ground floor are great with a lovely bar and sunken lounge area surrounded by art, design books and interesting bits of furniture. A cool vibe - almost like being in a Soho House hotel. And all the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was a bit crowded and although there’s lots of choice, it could have been better. A bit disorganised and very poor scrambled eggs. But (and this is cool) they have oysters and Prosecco!)
