My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon in La Rochelle and were delighted to have chosen Entre Hotes as our location to celebrate. The host, Olivier was incredibly welcoming, friendly, attentive, and had a wealth of knowledge about the area. The accommodation itself is very tidy and situated in a beautiful traditional French guesthouse in the heart of La Rochelle and near every amenity and attraction possible. 5 minute walk to the port, the beach, the markets. Literally in the middle of everything you would want to see. The location was excellent. We stayed in the private room to the rear of the property and had our own private entrance and exit as well as sun loungers and a picturesque terrace surrounded by flowers for our breakfast. The room was very tidy and cleaned regularly during our stay. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was strong, and the bath was very spacious and romantic. The breakfast was brought to us by Olivier every morning and was a delicious variety of breads, pastries, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee. It was a great way to start every day. La Rochelle itself is best explored by walking or cycling, and the location really enabled us to enjoy it to the full extent! Entre Hotes is truly is an authentic experience and I would advise anyone visiting La Rochelle to consider this location. When we return to La Rochelle, we will be back to this spot! Merci Olivier!

Nothing, perfect stay with everything we needed.

large bedroom and bathroom with a large window overlooking the garden, which was very pleasant. lovely decor.

the air conditioning did not work, so it was very hot at night, even with the window open. I contacted the host about it but he said it was working. There was no cold air coming out of the vent at all no matter how low we set the temperature on the control. the couple in the room next to us had the same problem.

Location was spot on as a short walk to the restaurants and harbour and park. We made use of the garage for our motorcycle. Olivier was a great host , the breakfast was lovely sat in the garden in the cool of the morning . He went out of way to advise for places to eat etc and we must thank him for the loan of ironing board and iron which was in great demand .

Nothing , every thing was very good .

The "hobbit cave" which has been made from the old wine cellar at the end of the garden is one of the most original rooms we have stayed in. Olivier was the perfect host, delivering an amazing Continental breakfast every morning. We had our own sun deck and reading area and easy access through the back gate, near to his private garage where we parked our car. The house was within easy walking distance of the town, bars and harbour.

Harder pillows but that is fine tuning!

Location was excellent and additional use of private parking fantastic . Decor lovely and friendly host . Breakfast outside very pleasant .

Different fruit for breakfast as same offered each of the three days . Facilities offered included garden but could not access in the afternoon when wanted to use as access locked if host not available

Everything - the beautiful building, the welcome from Olivier, our room, the view, the delightful Continenntal breakfasts in the wonderful garden served to us. The quietness in the house.

There wasn't anything apart from the stairs perhaps but Olivier always helped us with our luggage - as we are elderly - and was kindness itself.

The proximity to the old town and very close to shops, restaurant and bars The host Olivier was very helpful and in helping with recommendations of what to see and where to find some very good restaurants and also arranged a taxi for our journey back to the train station

Pillows were a bit soft

A charming host, a beautiful property and really good to be told about the history of the building. Our room was excellent. We were particularly grateful for the secure parking and the fact that we could walk to restaurants in the evening.

Beautiful, tasteful design and owner extremely friendly and helpful.

We had some rowdy people waking us up very late in the next door room however the owner came and told them off so he was very committed to the comfort of other guests staying and we appreciated this.

Olivier was an excellent host and very knowledgeable. He made some great recommendations for local restaurants and where the tourist traps were to avoid! The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the rooms were immaculate.
