Hôtel Le Roosevelt

This hotel is very stylish, cute, in a good area and a handy parkade. Beds were comfortable. Overall we liked our stay, minus a few issues which had a big impact. Laundromat is just around the corner as well. Very walkable and close to shopping and food.

It was during a heat wave so we definitely chose this hotel based on it having air conditioning. The A/C did not cool our room even though we had it on high the whole time. The hallway was much cooler than the room, so it wasn’t just us. Cold air was coming out but at a bare minimum. I requested a fan after the first night and the gentleman at the desk said he’d send one up right away. It never arrived. We were sweaty the whole 2 nights. This was the only place on our 16 night tour that offered only instant coffee and no milk or creamer in the room. It was a nice hotel, we may have just had a bad room. Too bad when I requested the fan I didn’t get it at the very least, instead of the proper working A/C. The tile in the showers are super SLIPPERY too, so be aware.

The Roosevelt was a very nice hotel in a very city centred location. The car park was underground and secure, but costs €17. However, it's a city centre location, so you're going to pay for this no matter where you are. The room was perfect. Everything provided, and spacious. The reception staff were very helpful, and friendly, and made the stay even better. If I owned this hotel, I'd love to have these people in charge of my hotel.

The car park was a little small, but was almost empty when we were there. We initially found the car park hard to find, as it's at the back of the hotel on another street, but the hotel could detail out the exact location easily as a small improvement on their website. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with this hotel.

One of the nicest city hotels we've ever stayed at. Very stylish, and our room (on the 5th floor) had obviously been recently and very cleverly refurbished. It felt much bigger than it was thanks to the design of the built in unit of wardrobe, fridge (completely silent), and safe (that worked), while across the full length of the window a sort of worktop could be sat at while also providing space for luggage underneath. Wi-fi was lightning fast. There was a wide variety of very fresh food for breakfast. The car park under the hotel was very safe and secure, and accessible by elevator. Location was ideal - surrounded by lots of restaurants and interesting shops, and within walking distance of the centre of the city in one direction, and the Parc de Tete d'Or in the other, and major shopping centres. On the 5th floor we heard very little street noise. The staff were charming & helpful.

Nice rooms. Stylish and comfortable. Very good bed. Good location. Very kind and responsive staff.

Open cabin shower. The bathroom gets a bit flooded when you take a shower. Some construction work on the roof of the building in front of the hotel. Very noisy and brutal in the morning. The staff was helpful when I complain about the noise and gave me another room. But it’s not the hotel’s fault.

The hotel is located in a great location. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops are located around the hotel. It is close to public transport. The staff were friendly and polite. My room was clean. The hotel included breakfast which was nice and it had variety of options.

The size of the room was smaller than I expected but it was enough for one person.

I loved the location and the staff. The staff were able to recommend fantastic activities and food suggestions. Highly recommend talking to them if you are interested in getting food (like everyone should be)

The only thing was that the air con wasn't working. We didn't bring it up due to not being unbearable with opening the window however could have been worse if it was hotter

The location of the hotel was perfect. Restaurants and sightseeing locations were 5-10 minute walking distance. For a boutique hotel everything satisfied my expectation. The hotel is a definite choice for couples who are in search of exploring the city by walking.

The toilet in the rooms could be cleaner. Other than that there was nothing to dislike.

Great hotel in a fantastic neighbourhood, very close to the city and the metro station, has everything you need for a comfortable stay :)

Breakfast could be a little cheaper! But there are so many great bakeries around you won’t have to worry about breakfast

Warm welcome by very friendly and accommodating member of staff. Evening staff member was also very helpful, booked our taxi for the next day. The hotel was very well furnished - our room was a little snug but fitted out well. Battery in safe was not charged.

Our room was a little snug however, we stayed only one night so it was not an issue.

Buffet breakfast was available on the premises and you can bill it to your room (if you haven't paid ahead) and pay when you check out. They also have a little bar where you can get drinks. Really easy access to public transport, very friendly staff.

The set up of the car park is a little difficult.
