Hôtel De Londres

I do travel alot around the world and my experiences have been wonderful but this Hotel has exceeded my expectations compared to the many I have previously stayed. I have travelled solo and could of not been more happier with my selection! The hotel is on an excellent location. A 6 minutes walk from the train station and you do have the Carrefour supermarket just around the corner. It is close to the lovely promenade (watch the sunrise), beach, restaurant, bars, and town centre Not on a busy road, which was so excellent for me! I have arrived before my check-in time and was able to leave my bags in a secure bag storage room. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by the lovely manager who was so ever so welcoming!!! It was an excellent and smooth start, considering the awful challenge that I have experienced with my flights , which made me super stressed. She was so lovely and reassuring and provided me excellent recommendations included a map, which I am truly grateful for! Thank you so much! One of the many great features of the property its the beautifully styled garden, reception, and room. All are a timeless modern design that is very attractive for the youth. Although my room was smaller, it was just excellent for a solo traveller. It had an amazing view. The bed was very soft and room always clean - comfort level maximized! The breakfast was excellent, a variety of options that are just what you need and more! The icing on the cake for me was the staff which was incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional, who worked promptly and efficiently as a team to solve my problem. I am truly grateful for this and wanted you all to know that I acknowledge your impeccable efforts. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I will definitely return to it (missing it already!!!!). Simply wonderful! PS. I absolutely loved to listen to the Jazz singers from my room with the window open. Amazing!!!!

Staff was great. Location was lovely - a block from the beach boardwalk so many waterfront dining options though wish we were closer to the Old Town. Learned the hard way that taxis charge almost double what Ubers charge... so if you have the app use it (note, it is not allowed in Monte Carlo). Adorable bar at entrance - good cocktails, great vibe. Did not partake in hotel breakfast as many cute patisseries very close.

Hotel was showing age (but expected for price). Walls thin. Odd step down to get into room and step up to get into bathroom. Bathroom was cut in 2 - toilet in one, sink shower in other. Booking sent an eMail to upgrade room... paid, but then hotel could not accommodate - annoying but we blame Booking more than the hotel.

We loved every minute of our stay because of the extremely kind and attentive staff and atmosphere overall. The room was adorable and a very good size as well as smelling amazing. The music live that they provided one night was lovely as well as the breakfast which had many assortments of food and drinks to choose from. Their entire staff was beyond what we expected and catered to our every need. Over all we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Menton. P.S when you go you have to try the outstanding Mojito made by Julian!

There wasn't a single thing we could critique on. The whole stay was remarkable! :)

Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. They provide complimentary renting of a paddle board & snorkelling equipment in addition to other beach toys;) They also provide a beach bag in the rooms to use during your visit. We asked whether they can also provide us with a beach umbrella for a day and they very kindly found one for us. Very pleased with their help to make our time very memorable and fun. Thanks!

I was surprised to see that there was no conditioner in the shower. Luckily I had grabbed one while packing taking into account our previous 1-night-hotel didn’t have it in Nice, but I would have expected to find one in a boutique hotel.

Nice breakfast whit everything you vant and need. Great outdoor area and outdoor bar Perfect location, short walk from (15min.) the old town, and just at the beach Private parking, at a reasonable daily price A hotel whit history Free use of SUP´s. This was very nice!!

In the room we stayed in, there was a lot of noise from the neighboring room (we stayed in room 31). We have never experienced such a sound between rooms before. Don't know if it applies between all rooms. It was probably a bit more expensive in the hotel bar than in an ok restaurant in town.

Fantastic staff, very welcoming. Took the time to explain the town and points of interested. Good size room and shower, comfy beds. We enjoyed how they provided a white-noise machine to use. Happy that they included use of swimming equipment and beach bags. Great location, easy walk to town. We had a fantastic time and would have no problems recommending it (-‘d Menton) to anyone we know.

Small things - ideally addition of fridge and extra hooks to hang beach towels. But otherwise nothing else.

The hotel is situated in a good place close to the station ans close to the beaches. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and no disturbances from traffic or people.

I like most of it. The breakfast though could be more extensive with fried eggs, bacon etc. 15 euros is a bit too high for what is served, although most of it was there. The room was very small which didn't really brother me since I was out all day. But the shower area was too small. You have to be a small skinny person to fit in there. But this was fine for those 4 days.

Very well presented hotel, room and breakfast area, with personable reception and staff who appear to be genuinely happy to have you stay in the hotel. They were visibly keen to be helpful and ensure my stay was as pleasant as possible. Would stay there again; it is within very close walking distance of the sea front/promenade, the old town, and restaurants. Gardens also within walking distance.

Just a remark: I stayed during the 'Festival du Citron' which is a very popular event: extremely difficult to park any where; and the hotel only has limited reserved (and chargeable) parking spots. Hotel staff did try to help out as much as they could to be accommodating and their efforts were appreciated.

Excellent location for exploring the Riviera and meeting up with old friends, great morning breakfast, very clean and extremely helpful staff

I was in a small room on the top floor next to the lift. Everything was great until someone used the lift, and this woke me up early in the morning. unfortunately for me, the man in the room nexr door snored really loudly and I could hear him through the wall before I went to sleep. Despite this inconvenience, I would definitely stay here again.

The Hôtel de Londres is an amazing place to stay on beautiful Côte d'Azur. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly - I couldn't have asked for more during my time there. The breakfast was fresh an typically French with lots of tasty croissants, fresh fruit, lemon water... The beach is only a 2 minute walk away which makes it really easy and convenient to have a relaxing day. 5-10 minutes walk into the center of the old town. I loved every minute there!
