Hôtel Le Mondon

The Hotel is in a good position to find parking and to move at the Metz center. The breakfast is a Continental with the essential product of good quality: the reception asks you witch type of brioche you prefer in the morning. The parking is the public (i.e., on the street) with payment in the time range 9-12 and 14-19: after the shops closure it's simple to find a place.

The building is hold and it exhibits hold style furniture with the carpet (i.e., moquette). The bathroom is small. Suitable solution for not more than one night

Since I am traveling with my dog, it is important for me to find a good quality hotel that accepts pets at a reasonable price. This hotel checked every need I had. We had a late check-in but the staff at the reception was there and very helpful. The room we stayed in was quite big and the beds were very comfortable. We were also happy with the breakfast provided. The location of the hotel was also a big bonus.

I guess the only thing I could complain about was that our room was a bit chilly. I understand with the energy prices going up, it is not reasonable to expect a room that is very hot. It would have been nice to put extra blankets in the wardrobe for people who choose to be warmer.

An amazing find but I think it is in the process of upgrading from a normal station area hotel into a boutique hotel so these prices won't last long. Our Booking.com rate was about 20 euro less than the posted rate and a large, good breakfast was included, which I hadn't expected. That made it an even better deal! The area is elegant, Metz is not big but it was an easy walk to both the train station and the old centre. The staff were helpful, even though I don't speak French.

Furniture in the room was a bit old but it is obvious the hotel is in the middle of upgrading.

The bathroom was a bit tiny bit and difficult to move in but still very clean and equipped. Breakfast was lovely with a lot of different options (Incl pancakes). However, the breakfast room was not big enough to gather all the guests when we wanted to have breakfast, so we had to wait some time before getting seated. The staff however did try to make it as efficient as possible and let us not wait too long.

Hotel Le Mondon is situated very comfortably - easy to arrive with a car and also at a short distance from the city center. The hotel doesn't have its own parking but they allow 50% discount on a parking in the area. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good.

The additional bed in the room (we were a company of 3 people) wasn't very comfortable.

This is the second time stayed in this hotel this year, The staffs are so kindness. I forgot my watch, called and asked them to sent it back. They helped me. Just in the shower, there is no any glass or badge to protect water… but it’s not much disturb. I deeply recommend everyone to come in this hotel. I love this hotel especially staff.

Staff at front desk was so helpful, breakfast team worked hard filling up everything quickly. Our room had a nice view across the roundabout - 2 windows make it pretty calm. The breakfast was really great; adding vegetable (crudités) e.g. tomatoes, cucumber, ... would make it perfect.

The hotel was really well located and the staff were sweetly accommodating. The room itself was small but well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good! We enjoyed it =)

The bathroom, while clean, had a sewer-y smell that I've always found annoying. We also wish there was on-premise parking. There was a marathon on our day of departure and while our car was a 15 min walk away, it took us an hour to navigate the closed roads and get back to the hotel for our bags!

the room was fine, clean and good bathroom. the breakfast in the morning was fine and fresh, I like that they ask before what you would like for bread and vienoiserie (croissants, pain au chocolat etc) so that there is not to much waist and comes from a fine bakery. good and beautiful location with nice buildings around near train station, busses and city center. Very friendly and helpfull staff! thank you

A classically old beautiful hotel overlooking an historic city square with a stunning fountain in the center of the square. Though the room was small, the large windows openning up to the regal edifices on the square expanded the feeling of space and elegance. Staff were gracious and very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding.
