Ground floors have door access to garden patio. Room size very good. Only 5 km from motorway.

Shower over bath access over high bath when wet. Both bath and tiled floor very slippery when wet. No grab handle to help access and egress bath.

The room was of a good size and very comfortable, the ensuite was very clean and well equipped. There was also a connected garden area which is superb. Although this is a very minor point, my wife and I are pretty old and a handle on the wall of the shower would be a very good addition. Parking, which was superb, was very adjacent to the hotel, very clean and secure and also had electrical charging points. Dinner was not cheap but excellent, my piece of pork was about the best that I have tasted and dessert (comme tiramisu) was outstanding.

The continental breakfast was extensive and very good but for the price it was a little expensive, just a little addition of perhaps eggs (scrambled and or fried) and some cooked bacon and or sausage would take the meal to a new level. The breakfast room is superb. Either that or reduce the price of the breakfast by a few euros, just a suggestion.

Plenty of parking. Very clean rooms if not a little utilitarian. Efficient check-in and no bother to change the time of our dinner reservation to an earlier sitting. Delicious meal in the restaurant, a little pricey but beautifully cooked. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and varied with a selection of breads, cheese, cold meats, fruit and yoghurt. Check-out isn't until mid-day.

There wasn't any coffee/tea making facility in the room which would have been nice last thing at night and to start the day with. We did notice, as we made our way to breakfast, cups and tea set out on the reception desk, presumably to help yourself to? We hadn't been told this was available and even if we had, we wouldn't have wanted to nip down in the morning in our pjs for a cuppa! It's the little things that make a trip memorable and you wanting to return. We hadn't realised, our fault probably, that breakfast wasn't included in the cost of the room. The overall cost of the room for 1 night, meal for 2 including a bottle of wine and a couple of beers and breakfast for 2 came to €318.50.

Quiet and cool room with outdoor access to a private terrace for my dog. A grand property from the outside and public areas. Restaurant was very pleasant with good food and a very good value set menu. Charming Maitre d’. Breakfast had an excellent selection and I really enjoyed it

Room was a let down from the expectation built from the external and public area appearance. Corridor outside my room 5 was a storage area with chairs stacked up and the breakfast buffet tables and service equipment. Dated furnishings in the room. No added extras. It wasn’t uncomfortable by any means, just disappointing. Restaurant service apart from the maitre d’ was quite unprofessional. I don’t mean this in a bad way but I think they had work experience going on. That is fine but don’t leave youngsters to open a bottle of wine if they can’t. It was embarrassing for them and me, especially in France!

We were really impressed as to the building, the people and the evening meal. The meal was exceptional. Breakfast very good also. Plenty of safe car parking. Would stay here again.

out for a walk with the dog the locality seems a little run down and if we hadn’t eaten in the hotel restaurant (which was fabulous) Im not sure where we would have found to eat. that said I would happily stay again en route from Switzerland to the U.K. the duvet….why oh why do hotels all think we are freezing cold in bed and supply such ‘heavy weight’ duvets … please give me a light duvet and optional blankets

This hotel is absolutely perfectly positioned for those heading to or from the Calais / Folkestone shuttle. It is also wonderfully situated for visiting Vimy or ND de Lorette. If you've never visited before and are driving through Noeux-les-Mines worrying a bit (especially if coming from the North...) as I was the first time, fear not. This place is a little oasis of loveliness. The staff are fabulous, and very kind, and the rooms exceedingly comfortable. The food at dinner is extremely good, especially the fish courses, and the wine list exceptional value.

There was a rather noisy air conditioning unit just below our window, but to be honest, we only noticed it when the blackbirds went to bed. Otherwise, it was just wonderful.

The on site secure parking was excellent and the hotel itself is very stylish. Our room was spotless and included complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was good, and there was plenty of options available to suit everyone's taste. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we did drive the 20 mins into Bethune for dinner where there are a nice selection of restaurants around the Grand Place which is very pretty. We used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the Tunnel, and we were very pleased with the high quality accommodation.

Coffee/tea making facilities in the room would have been a nice touch. Also, having fresh coffee for breakfast, rather than catering jugs that were overly brewed. These are minor things though and we would definitely stay here again!

Dinner was outstanding, due to so many guests being booked in we were give a private dinning room for our party of 6. A separate music systems was supplied by the management so we could stream our own music. The private room was beautifully decorated. The food provided was of an exceptional standard well prepared using great fresh ingredients. The wine list offered had a good choice, with the rose and whites well chilled :). This hotel is a real gem, Whilst selecting our stay as a stop over on our way to the Eurotunnel in future we would select as a destination venue for a weekend, magical :)

A Hidden Gem in an unlikely location. Only unlikely because the surrounding location is very ordinary and unremarkable but once inside the walls that surround the Imposing building and inside the building itself everything is special and surprisingly unusual. My room was excellent and the service and quality of the food in the restaurant was a perfect curtain raiser to the 3 week France tour to follow. I would highly recommend it to anyone arriving off the tunnel train late afternoon before heading South and looking for a perfect first night stay to get into the mood of France.
