ibis Nuits Saint Georges

The room was quite small but had most of what you need, especially air conditioning in the heat. We used the restaurant and enjoyed the interesting and good value meal. There was a warm welcome from the staff. There is plenty of parking and it was very quiet at night. The included breakfast had a very good choice. I would stay here again.

I would have liked a kettle in the room especially as they had run out of decaff coffee but they did make me a jug of water. The room was a little on the small side and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but everything worked.

The reception, quality of room and the breakfast were all as we expected having stayed here before. Adequate parking is always a bonus especially at a hotel near a town centre.

The lack of any real choice for the restaurant main meal. We did eat here earlier this year and had the most meagre piece of dried chicken breast. There doesn't seem to be a chef just someone who can do some short-order cooking. Didn't eat in.

Location is good with quite a lot of parking available. Easy to get to from the autoroute and within easy walking distance of the town centre.

The very limited choice of evening meal which was provided by way of a very small portion. The plastic mattress protector made the sleeping experience rather unpleasant. The electricity to the room went off during the night with neither light or power available.

It's clean and the beds are comfortable. Pets are welcome and the the staff is very helpful. And the food is delicious.

Unfortunately, the menu is still only being written on the chalkboard and only in French (somebody complained about it earlier). The problem is mainly that you cannot read every handwriting properly so a translation app does not really help. I don't understand why they don't type it on the computer and use a translation program and hand it out to the customers.

Comfortable and pleasant. Good location - a short 10 minute walk to the town centre.

Disappointed with the need to pay tax on departure. Addressing that issue delayed our departure as i had thought all costs had been covered when we checked in the evening before - had this been made clear when checking in we would have paid there and then.

Welcome and comfort and location. We were traveling through France and wanted somewhere near the autoroute and this hotel fits the bill perfectly. Good parking and easy walking distance into the town whilst being able to get on the autoroute quickly. Very good breakfast. We've stayed here before and will do so again.

The evening meal menu was very limited. Only what's on the blackboard, no other choices. Having said that we enjoyed what we ate.

Location was good.. staff were very helpful and polite.. the only issue was that the menu was in French only and on a chalk board and handwriting was difficult to decipher. and we ended up with something that was edible but would not have normaly ordered. one more thing although we had a super.comfy bed . the pillows provided were like marshmallows even when bolstered up with the spare pillow

The location is brilliant. We have visited your hotel since 2010 and we know we will have a home from home experience. It is conveniently situated between our home and our destination and we know we will be able to stroll into town before returning for a good meal and pleasant night's sleep. Thank you

Excellent location within walking distance of town. Modest rooms but very clean. Lovely terrace for drinks or meals. Incredible receptionist/manager Odile was very efficient, charming and helpful. A human dynamo worth her weight in gold.

an observation, not a criticism: in these times of covid there are rules to be followed about hygiene. I noticed that for the buffet dinner offered at the Ibis Nuit St Georges that guests handled the same serving spoons, forks, ladles to put food on their plates. This is not a good idea and is unhygienic. All other covid rules at this hotel were scrupulously applied.
