Mercure Rambouillet Relays Du Château

Hotel location was good, the property is nice and functional. The little italian restaurants gets a big thumbs up for friendly staff and good food. Gym was small but works fine and nice to have the option. Close to park so that was great. nice atmosphere and in morning (Saturday) there is a fruit and veg market outside.

Dinner: I tried to have dinner but the restaurant was fully booked (at check in they could advise to book restaurant). Room service is from same restaurant so they couldnt offer me room service until after 9pm (It was 630 pm). The bar/lounge wouldnt offer a sandwich. In general the bar staff seemed to just want to say no to me looking for food. But as mentioned above the italian restaurant were helpful, friendly and great food. Beer was cold too :-)

The hotel is in excellent location, in the heart of town, just next to Marie and Château. The Chateau has a beautiful park for running. The hotel serves continental breakfast, the staff was friendly.

As 4* hotel it is too basic- the furniture, the interior in general. For example, the air-conditioning in our room was so noisy, that it was almost impossible to sleep. The fridge was not working and the receptionist cannot find any other solution as just offer a drink, which was kind from his side.

The location is great, the hotel looks good, staff was OK. There are a lot of shops and bars around and the access to paris is decent (using the main rambouillet train station or via personal car - 50 min ride to circle 4 of Paris)

Parking was difficult on Saturday and Wednesday when the local market fills the parking in front of the hotel

We stayed in this hotel several years ago. It remains very comfortable although perhaps a little more modern and less individual following the Mercure takover. The access to the garden of the Chateau de Rambouillet next door is excellent for dogs. Lots of cafes and restaurants immediately to hand.

Only comment is about parking - the hotel does not have any of its own. It would be very helpful if the staff could more proactively explain (they didn't seem to know) the parking regulations and costs on the streets around the hotel.

Really enjoyed drinks on the terrace and the location next to the chateau

Our bed was 2 singles zipped together. But the room fittings , lights and light switches were not set up for double and we kept bumping our heads on the light shade and switching the lights off when we sat up in bed!

Lovely location right by the castle, Saturday Market and walking distance to lots of restaurants. Large rooms with comfy bed.

Nothing major, just little bits like slight mould growing in bathroom, bad paint jobs, broken shower slider so it wouldn't stay up. Didn't affect our stay.

i arrived at the hotel with a problem. i left orly airport with someone else's suitcase which looked like mine, the receptionist was very helpful, providing me with toilitries and a mobile charger. the receptionist the next day was also super helpful. dinner on the first night was superb. i thought the decor of everything in the hotel was very tasteful

It's a family-friendly hotel close to the chateau. Breakfast was quite good. They had a wide selection.

If you are looking to have drinks or coffee in the late afternoon you may have to wait a bit as it can get quite busy. This is not a big deal - just need to manage expectations.

Location and overall setting of the building at a square and cobblestone street was absolutely wonderful. Rooms were large, tastefully done and well fitted.

Breakfast was oke, a bit simple and would be appreciated if extended on weekend days beyond 10:30u

Brilliant location opposite the castle and park. Super clean, comfortable, welcoming and lovely staff. The car park opposite the hotel is extremely practical too.

It's a great shame we weren't told about the kids benefiting from free breakfast despite asking about our breakfast options upon check-in, and the information in the room showing the normal fee for an adult express breakfast would apply to kids. It left us having to go buy pastries and drinks when they could have ambled downstairs.
