Kefalonia Grand

An amazing experience! Everything was perfect from my check in until the check out! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful at reception.The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the quality was very good, served by a very smiley staff. I totally recommend this hotel and I will come back!

Our stay at the Kefalonia Grand was absolutely amazing. As our flight was canceled, we arrived one day later. They offerered us a free upgrade and for the missed first night, we were allowed to stay one additional night free of charge. First and foremost, the staff is AMAZING! Everything was so smooth starting from the check-in where we were welcomed with fresh lemonade, which was a great touch during hot summer day. Later we were surprised with a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. In fact, we were upgraded again the last day to a room with a sea view. What can i ask for more? ❤️ People at the reception were so awesome helping us with everyday questions and finding places. Thanks for making our holiday FANTASTIC I REALLY do hope to come back!

The Kefalonia Grand is loacted in the middle of the Argostoli promenade, perfect location, if you prefer to be in the centre of happenings. Our room was bright and spacious with a big balcony, as we stayed in one of the suits on the third floor. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for it, we loved you all.

Unfortunately the hotel's minimalist design, as it must be a good few years old, starts to show some wear and tear. A refurb would do good to it. Our hotel room, although beautifully designed, was lacking a proper storing space, or cupboards, so we had to live from our suitcases throughout the week. Also the ensuit, rather a beautiful minimalist design as well, was ergonomicly rather challenging with the builtin shelf and the washbasin being at knee height (causing us even some back ache...)

Staff are exceptional; Joanne at the reception is very helpful, kind and she always makes us feel very welcomed and at ease. There is one big guy at the bar (forgotten to ask for his name) who is very friendly and would often check with us if all is good and so on. Room and toilet is smaller than expected but still ok. Place is very clean. Location is near the shopping area and square. Convenient hotel to stay if you are taking some of the boat trips departing from the port/habour here. Breakfast selection is a little limited but good enough. Overall, wonderful stay here.

The staff can’t do enough to help you, they are amazing. we were given a free room upgrade and the room was spacious and with a gorgeous view. Shower pressure is amazing. Breakfast is the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in Europe, gorgeous coffee and buffet as well as a la carte options. The location is great - within walking distance from loads of good bars and restaurants & drinks in the hotel bar are lovely and reasonably priced too. there’s free parking 2 minutes walk away (it’s definitely recommended to hire a car to explore the other areas and villages of kefalonia). Turtles across from the hotel in the harbour after breakfast every morning too! this was our second time and we found it even better than last year - so much so we have booked to bring a group of our friends next summer! thank you kefalonia grand!

Beautiful hotel. It feels new and well designed. The room was very simple, but stylish and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The view was nice and the location right in the centre of Argostoli.

It felt a bit impersonal. The staff was polite but not engaging. We made the booking for our wedding night, which we made very clear to them and they didn’t even bother to put some rose pedals on the bed or anything. By contrast, in our mini-moon hotel, they made a heart out of rose pedals and gave us a bottle of champagne and a heart shaped cake.

We travel a lot with my wife and unfortunately we only spent one night to this gorgeous hotel, passing from Kefalonia to continue our trip at Ionian Islands. Kefalonia Grand is the ideal place if you want an elegant, relaxing holiday into the capital of Kefalonia, where the action takes place. Clean, spacious rooms and great, polite staff. We also had a wonderful dinner with special cocktails at the hotel's bar-restaurant. Can't wait to move back for a week through September!

Beautiful decor and immaculately clean throughout. The location was perfect in terms of being able to access the island. Pleasant views over the harbour and marina. The breakfast was delicious and fresh with a wide variety of choices. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to the waitress at breakfast (Marina). She was so helpful and polite…. and to the wonderful bookings Manageress who greeted us on arrival.

Fantastic location and great staff at the reception . Very kind and knowledgeable and warm . Rooms were also clean and the bed was comfortable .

The room was a bit small - make sure to get the room with view as well as ours had no view and not much light . The breakfast was not that great other than the eggs . More English breakfast than the Greek I was expecting . But nothing too shabby and I would still stay again because the staff were nice and it’s a great location.
