Hotel Atlantis

The hotel exists to serve the needs of visitors who arrive in Corfu en route to further destinations and it does this very well. The clean, basic but comfortable sea view rooms face the new port, boats small and large, and distant mountains. Reception is always helpful, the night porter welcoming and in the morning sitting outside ( mostly waiting for time of flight or to catch a ferry) in the shade with coffee is relaxing despite traffic beyond.

The air conditioner is a bit of a challenge!

We booked a room with sea view and I must say the view was amazing, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, there was everything that you need in the room starting from slippers, a mini fridge, amenities, blinders, AC, a table with 2 seats in the balcony to watch the sunset. They changed the towels very often and we stayed just 3 nights, the personnel extremely polite. The accommodation is 10 min walk from corfu old town and Greenbus station right at the corner. Very close to ferry as well. Rent a car points everywhere surrounding hotel. 30 min walk away from airport

Poor breakfast even if they had variety of eggs, pastry or cheese, yogurt and cereals. We went at 9:30 and the bacon and cheese were about to end( 2 pieces of each), but they didn’t refill any of the products. Poor cocktails as well. I will highly recommend them to improve the breakfast as they have wonderful views and a bf will make a perfect vacation here.

The staff was so so friendly. They let us leave our luggage before the check-in without additional charges. The room was clean and the AC worked perfectly for a super hot day in the city. The bed was comfortable. Hot water with good pressure. The location is great if you have a ferry to take.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like, but you must know that entering the hotel is like going to the past, decoration and technology wise, but everything in the hotel was functioning well and provides comfort. The bathroom was small. It’s true that It’s pricey for what offers, but it was the cheapest option that I could find, so I guess it’s ok.

Ideal location a short distance from the ferry port. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was perfect with a good shower and a stool provided so my partner could sit in the shower as he is disabled. We booked a sea view room and it was lovely to sit on the balcony watching the ferries and other boats come and go. Even though there’s a busy road outside there was no noise once the balcony doors were closed. We were directed to a lovely fish taverna about 30m away and there were ramps at every crossing which isn’t the norm in Greece so big thumbs up 👍🏻

This is not a criticism, it is only for information purposes. My partner is in a wheelchair and the receptionist helped by opening both doors to give him room to manoeuvre to the ramp down to the lobby. The only issue was that the wheelchair wouldn’t fit in the elevator. Luckily my man can stand and walk very short distances so we left the chair in the lobby and he was able to get to and move around the room.

I liked the customer service of the man that welcomed us at the reception, he was very polite and kind with a great sincere smile. I liked the spacious room and the view from the balcony. I liked that there is AC and possibly to obscure the windows with electric blins.

I think it was a bit overpriced, we paid 130 for one night plus 10 each for breakfast. The traffic noise through the windows was very much unpleasant during the night. The furniture and the bathroom are obviously dated but all functional.

The location is ideal, right near the port, close to the airport, and a short walk to old town. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had a balcony with a lovely view of the water.

For us, the property meets all of our needs. For people who prefer something a little fancy or with extra amenities this might not be the place for you.

We stayed in a twin room with a sea view. We loved the view of the port, watching the boats and cruise ships coming and going. We stayed for one night before catching a ferry the next day. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The room had everything we needed and although a bit dated, it was fit for purpose. 15 mins walk into Corfu old town. The bus stop is nearby and plenty of taxis. Great restaurants, cafes and a bakery nearby. We would stay here again.

The location is fine if beaches are not your priority. We were there for three days, and went swimming once (at a beach a little to the north, reachable by bus) -as our priority was exploring Corfu Town including its museums. You can easily walk to the town centre, though there's a bus stop right across. The bus trip from the airport was short and fun. On the way back, we took a taxi; as it was a short trip anyway. Breakfast was great. The balcony view was fab.

The only downside was that everything could use an update. But, as everything seemed to be clean, we didn't really mind. The AC was too noisy and should be replaced, though. We tried sleeping without the AC with the balcony door open, but the street was also too noisy so we had to tolerate the AC noise.

The staff is very kind and friendly. They allowed us to check in early, which was great, and to leave our bags after check-out. The location is excellent as the green bus stop to the nearby beaches is just across the street and the airport bus stop is very close to the hotel. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the town center. The view of the sea is beautiful.

There is a lot of noise coming from the street and airplanes flying over. Furniture should definitely be upgraded, especially in the bathroom. The mattresses were too hard for me, but that is a personal preference. Kettles in the rooms would be a great addition.

The hotel was close to the city centre but also not too far to reach to the airport. We had just 1 day in Corfu town with a very early flight the next day in the morning, so this hotel was the perfect choice for us. Also was the cheapest we could find in high season. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and we even checked in 4 hours earlier. Next morning they called us a taxi very promptly. The room was clean, beds were comfy.
