Sunset Hotel

Clean, tidy excellent housekeeping. Beds changed most days,towels changed everyday and unlimited hot water. A lovely room overlooking bay with plenty of room and storage. There was a lovely pool and towels were available foc. There were always beds available with sunshades. The staff were always available and very helpful with any queries.

Location. Although we knew how far we were from Corfu town with a bus stop located outside the hotel, we felt a car was essential. There was no local tavernas that you could pop out to during the day although the hotel had a poolside bar the snacks were limited and the drinks were expensive.

Lovely hotel! Lovely people who were so friendly and helpful! They made sure that we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, with all the necessary. Nice sized swimming pool, and a bar where you can buy meals and drinks. You can even order food in if you want ! The receptionist will even phone for the delivery! Thanks once again for making my daughter and I si welcome!

Make sure you have rented a car. The hotel is a bit far away from the town if Corfou. And it is best to have a car if you want to visit the island.

It was clean and good value for money. Close to the beach and bus station. Friendly staff, very good breakfast.

Located near a very circulated road. I wasn't disturbed by the cars, but people who get rooms closer to the road or who are sensitive may be. A bit far from shops and restaurants, but if you like going for walks, it's not a problem. Sometimes you have to wait a lot for buses and when it gets late you have to get a taxi from the town, as the buses don't work .

We stayed at this hotel for one night before catching a ferry the next morning. The location is good, close to Corfu airport and also the ferry port. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they were happy to help us with a booking a taxi. The room was very clean and had a large balcony. The buffet breakfast was excellent! We didn't have time to use it but the pool area looked great.

The room was slightly dated so may not be to everyone's taste. Apart from that, everything was great!

The pool was fantastic, I had great days there. Also, there is a bar near the pool with music and I we had great fun. The breakfast is good, different options of pastry, the staffs keep all the table clean and organized. The rooms are simple but really clean. The staffs are friendly and always helped us when we needed any information or any service.

The hotel could have a car available to the customers. We got the but number 7 to the city centre but it stops at 23:30. The breakfast is good but they seems to have the same food options every day.

Professional staff at reception fluent in English and were really helpful when we needed to order food ( no local restaurants, accessible only by car). Our room was fairly large with three single beds as requested! WiFi coverage was excellent and the mini bar most appreciated. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice even for vegetarians like us!

Far from city center. Despite city bus no.7 stopping just beside the hotel (bus stop same name as hotel) the timetable is unreliable. We waited nearly an hour once! The lift is ever so slow that often times we opted to use the stairs. Television not in center of room, viewing not accessible to all.

superb breakfast (had everything)! friendly and helpful staff, spoke good English, large pool, also separate pool for children, free sun beads, very clean facilities, well-sized, clean room with air condition, local bus stop very close to the hotel, shops (Lidl, wine shop, utility store, gas station) close by, local taverna Alykes close by at the beach with delicious food and beautiful sea view.

Hard bed, but staff helped with additional pillows

I booked this place last minute as I needed an extra night in Corfu for a purchase of a property to go through. This was the only place with space last minute. I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were very nice. The lady who served drinks by the pool at night was also very professional and a credit to the establishment. The room was fine, comfortable and suited my needs.

The only two things I wasnt so happy with was the breakfast, which was very poor and also parking is a bit of an issue if you have a big car but I managed ok in the end.

Very nice and fine hotel, with perfect location near main street to city center. Around 5 minutes drive to old port where at night hours parking is free and you can walk 5 minutes to center from there on. Pool is cool and one of the deepest I have been in on one side. Breakfast is delicous, staff very friendly, parking also available. Balconies in all rooms!

Sunset Hotel was the ideal choice for our last night in Corfu. With an early flight the next morning, it’s proximity to Corfu Town made for an enjoyable last day of exploring the city and a quick 15 minute ride to the airport in the morning to catch our flight. Our room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a cute balcony with ample seating. The staff were friendly and helpful with arranging taxis.

The swimming pool wasn’t working. We were planning to take a dip when we arrived.
