Castri Hotel

Fantastic view from our room. In this category of modest hotels, this is definitely an excellent choice for Delphi. The front desk staff (Harris) was very helpful and positive. The breakfast room was well appointed. The room is quite spacious.

I travel a lot, and booking.com gave me a free upgrade for this hotel. The room was paid right away, at the time of booking. When I was leaving, however, the owner of the hotel was telling me that I really should have paid more for the room where I had stayed. I was very in a rush, so I am not sure what she meant exactly, but that interaction left an unfavorable impression. I especially didn't appreciate that the owner wanted to talk to me when I was leaving while she had had plenty of time to discuss anything she wanted earlier that morning, for example during the breakfast, which I didn't eat as I was not feeling well. Instead, she was just staring at me, and it felt like we were on stage, being watched all the time.

Charis, the evening attendant was amazing. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and Charis worked with me to ensure that flowers were in our room when we arrived. My wife loved them, so special thanks to Charis. The rest of the staff were also great. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy. We were close to everything. If we ever return to Delphi, we will definitely stay at Hotel Castri. Further, we recommend Hotel Castri to everyone!!

The only thing that would have our stay better is if it had been longer!!

Cozy hotel in a quiet street, very tidy and with nice breakfast. The bread was very tasty, as it was from local bakery, Greek yogurt was exceptionally tasty, also from local makers and cheese was also very good. The hotel is not in the central street, but as Delphi is such a small village, you can reach bus station by foot just in 7 minutes. As two central streets are very noisy, because of transit traffic, this hotel was an excellent choice. The conditioners were silent and worked properly. Bathroom was big and very clean. Also, they were changing towels every day. So, proportion between price and quality was simply perfect.

We were very pleased with the location and condition of the hotel. The hotel was historical, so one can't expect amenities like pools & spas. What it offered was an amazing view of the town of Delphi and the sea. It also offered a beautifully well-kept old building with modern updates. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I believe this hotel had been family held for generations. The breakfast buffet was nice and met our needs well.

The location although incredible was difficult to find and parking was impossible. But that's the area and not the fault of the hotel. We did request a full-sized double or queen bed months in advance, and the hotel accommodated us by putting two twin beds together. Not exactly the same but they tried.

The staff was super-welcoming and helpful. They helped me to solve my reservation issue (was my mistake) and answered all my questions around Delphi etc. Location cannot be better: just next to the town center, the restaurants, walking distance to the archeological museum and site - you won't need to use your car while staying in the hotel. And the view out of the balcony is absolutely fantastic! Basic but sufficient breakfast, with local honey and jam - yummy!

The shower booth in my room was tiny, I was almost touching the walls with my shoulders. For bigger people might be a bit challenging. Not sure, may be in other rooms it is more spacious.

Everything was perfect and smooth as can be. I arrived a Lil later than I was expecting and the owner was so kind. Check in was quick and easy and I asked her if I could extend my stay an extra day which she happily obliged to. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. And it had its own balcony. The neighborhood is nice and quite. You are a quick walk from the archeological sites, town centre, and bus station. Breakfast was included in the stay. And the owner is able and willing to help you with any and all questions. When I come back I will be staying here again!

The Castri was cozy, comfortable, and just a wonderful location. Our room was compact for four single beds -- and the beds were comfortable given how tire we were, but the mattress was way too firm for one in our party. I slept soundly! The shower was workable, but compact so someone of much larger stature may not fit. There is no elevator, and we managed up one flight to our room with our bags. The breakfast was filling with selections of bread, jam, herd boiled eggs, sausage slices, cheese, yoghurt, and fruit. The hotel recommended a dinner spot for us which was a short walk through beautiful Delphi and the dinner was just fantastic, at Vakhos Tavern which offers a beautiful view, as did our room with a quaint balcony at the hotel.

The view on the balcony overlooking the bay at sunset was phenomenal!! book a room with a view, get a bottle of wine and soak in this view. this is within walking distance to sites of Delphi but we drove due to being so tired. if no vehicle this location is about 15 mins walk to the museum where you start. I would recommend to a friend to stay here!

We booked two rooms for our group of 6 and were given two neighboring rooms. The staff was very accommodating of a last-minute request. The rooms were clean and comfortable with amazing views from the balcony. The included breakfast was served buffet-style, with a good range of options to choose from. The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance to a number of restaurants, and easy on-street parking.
