The Grand Imperial - Heritage Hotel

Spacious room with all the amenities and clean bed linen and washroom. The BF spread was very good and the food was tasty. The staff made us comfortable and were ready to make whatever we liked.

We saw couple of cockroaches in the washroom. Hotel could do some pest control

Suite rooms were so big that 2 ACs were needed to cool the room. Ceiling was very high and the whole place had nice retro feel. Everything about this hotel was top notch. Even buffet breakfast was amazing.

Sometimes in shower didn't get that much hot water that I expected but as it was peak summers so I didn't mind taking a bath with little cold water.

Such a beautiful hotel with beautiful staff and a wonderful welcome. The lady in reception Shabina (we think is her name) was very excited for us to be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and arranged for a cake to be cut in the garden with other guests. Such a beautiful thing to do. The facilities were excellent and the restaurant service and food above standards. The gardens are beautiful to sit in to read a book. We would love to return.

Our sleep was a little disturbed by traffic at night.

The property was well presented, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the history of the building, and the lawned area and pool were beautiful.

We were disappointed that the safe was not secured to the shelving in the closet, because anybody could have picked it up and walked out with it. It should be firmly bolted onto the shelf.

This property has a beautiful classic heritage-style architecture. The staff were very attentive, particularly in the restaurant. The garden is well maintained and provides a pleasant atmosphere for sitting outside. The food was delicious and our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable stay with great service.

However, the pool could benefit from better maintenance as it was not in the best condition.

Historic hotel a short drive from Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Nice dinner buffet and breakfast. Friendly staff. Big rooms with classic furniture. Shower works fine with very hot water. It seems there are a lot of negative reviews of this place. It's by no means a 5 star hotel (anymore), but it's also not priced like one either. For what I paid, I am glad I saved the money vs. staying at the Taj or ITC. I certainly wasn't slumming it - all I needed was a decent night's rest before seeing the Taj Mahal early the next morning. If money is no concern and/or you are staying for multiple days, then one of the newer 5* hotels will be a better option.

I stayed in March and already room was a bit warm. There are two A/C units in the room and only one was working. The one that was working wasn't doing much cooling. Some traffic noise in the early evening but less later at night and once both doors to room are closed. (double door entry).

1. The location is close by to see the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. It's also a few km from the railway station. 2. The staff are helpful and support in any requirements. 3. The place is cleaned often 4. The food is great and has 24/7 availability.

1. The cost of the hotel is super expensive for the stay. 2. The pool is not working and nothing about it was mentioned on the website. 3. The cab services provided by the hotel are expensive 4. The water is not hot after repeatedly asking for more.

Beautiful, classy hotel with 19th century vibe. Our room was very spacious and well furnished. It is over 100 years old hotel, which makes it very unique. Out room was clean and room service was polite and friendly. There was also heater in the room, keeping us warm.

Some of the reception staff are not talking good English and they provide contradicting information. 2 days before my arrival I received information that there will be wedding party at the hotel, during my stay. I was very surprised, because before booking this hotel, I specifically asked if there will be any event in the hotel during my stay. I was told 'no'. After asking why I received incorrect information at the first place, I was told that I cannot change my reservation anymore. Few hours later another message from hotel was saying that it was confusion from the reception and there is no wedding party during my stay. I think that only well informed staff should be responsible for contact with clients.

My second time staying here, it left a lasting impression on me 7 years ago and it still felt exactly the same. I love the history of the building it’s a true oasis in the middle of Agra. It really feels special being there. The team cannot be more helpful, the welcome you get upon arrival is like no other! If there is anyone I know going to Agra I would 100% recommend to stay here it’s an experience in itself and one not to be missed.

It had an old style charm and the staff were lovely, especially Mohammad at reception and Janice from the spa.

The room could do with some updating, the interior of the top was very brown. The restaurant (while tasty) needs a little music and a design update (that could still be tasteful within the old aesthetic) as the vibe is a little more village hall than British Raj these days. The location (15 min tuk tuk from the Taj Mahal) is fine as Agra is not a city to walk in.
