Courtyard by Marriott Bhopal

First of all, The name of Director - F&B - Mr Amit Mehta name should be written. He is an excellent, professional and outstanding gentleman, who understand customers need, requirement and helped us in an astonishing way, when we had our trains late. Immediately he asked front office to give us a delayed check out of 4 / 5 hrs. This was real great help and such person are REAL ASSETS to a 5 Star Hotel. This gesture should be appreciated by Senior Management and such staff are to be retained by 5 Star Hotels, which adds value for a Hotel. Mr. Ravi of House Keeping was very good, co-operative and helpful and wish him to be appreciated by Management. In F&B Mr Sayan and Mr Satpal Singh was also helpful. Mr Nikunj at reception was co-operative and helpful. In the last also, Mr Amit Mehta help was just SUPERB AND OUTSTANDING.

Prime location, best part is that its beside DB mall and there is an inner way to the mall directly via Starbucks. So, its convenient if you are bored or feeling lazy or shopaholic. Best food buffet and taste is delicious. And if you are staying here do experience the buffet in Momo Cafe inside Marriott. In room dining experience is also fast (max: 20-30 mins) and fresh.

Rooms could have been more sound proofed. As it’s in prime location and a well known hotel, so there were a lot of parties and gatherings in the peak time (Christmas & New Year) which sometimes hindered your peaceful stay.

The breakfast spread was extensive, and with a 'live cooking station' you could order almost anything freshly cooked for breakfast! We loved the fact that it was part of the wider DB City Mall. We literally walked 1 min to enter the mall which is open till 11 pm on most days. We shopped and ate quite a bit in the mall

More toilet paper in the rooms please!

I liked the food, room size, and the services rendered. There was plethora of items to choose from in the morning breakfast. I also liked the general behaviour of the hotel personnel. Everyone associated with my stay at the hotel was highly cooperative.

I didn't like the cab charges for visit to the places of tourist interest around Bhopal. It must be reasonable one so as to facilitate movement of the guests staying at your hotel without putting strain on their budget.

Breakfast included South Indian/North Indian/western and have provided all sorts of healthier options too. Staff were courteous and helpful. Location is also great, next to biggest shopping mall. Multiple locations to sit quietly and enjoy.

Not complaining, but americano coffee can be improved. Of course, you have covered this with several other coffee choices. Grilled chicken preparation to be revisited in the restaurant.

My 5th stay at the hotel. Services are getting better over time. Overall staff has always been very very responsive and positive. Whether at the front office or at the restaurant. Any special requests are always taken off with a smile. During this trip, I must single out Bhavna at the front desk. I arrived and left during her shift. Very effective and efficient. Of course, so were the crew members.

Housekeeping needs to be a little more proactive. I had asked them to ensure that they place a couple of things in the room as I was leaving for a meeting. Wasn't done when i reached my room late at night. Didn't want to raise that point so late at night. Bath towels need to be a little thicker. Need to place a couple of additional face towels in the bathroom as well.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Courtyard, especially when one travels with a young family.We were super impressed with the friendliness and help offered at every bit of our stay. I cant forget to mention the valet team, Mustafa at the Front Office and Anil at the Momo cafe for their professionalism in handling our requests albeit silly at times. On behalf of my family and kids , I thank the whole team at Courtyard for hosting us so nicely. All the best and keep up the great work. 10/10 ;)

The stay was good and peaceful. The best part of the property is the restaurant. The junior service guys are properly trained and the food was good.

The front office ladies need to be a bit more courteous and pleasant. I would say Taj welcome is heartier than what you receive here. The personal attention was lacking and that's an area where they could improve if they are actually looking for suggestions.

Junior Suite Layout is not upto the mark, appreciate for architect who saved space for owner but as a user compare to other hotel we can not call it Suite (Jr.). This suite give feel us King size room. so for Jr Suite it’s not paisa vasool deal for us.

Great location. Nice Ambience. Amicable and cordial staff.

Breakfast/lunch/dinner - spread is good but there is scope for improvement in terms of taste of food items.
