Umaid Haveli Hotel & Resorts

Overall the stay was amazing. The rooms and the whole hotel was very traditional which allowed us to feel a part of the place. The bed was large and very comfortable and also played a part in tradition with frills. The breakfast was buffet styled and had a variety of choices including Indian and English styled food. The hotel also provided us with small items in the hygienic bathroom for the shower.

The only thing that we found a problem with was that we had booked three rooms and one of these rooms were on a different floor than the other two which meant that we had to split the family up. However the receptionist gave us the option to swap the single room up the next day but unfortunately we only were staying for one day.

While booking it, I was a little doubtful as I read few negative reviews about it. However, my intuition held me and I booked it. And, then, everything was so wonderful there... be it main door at the enterance, reception area, restaurant decor, room decor and even the bathroom size. I also liked the buffet breakfast menu as it was very well spread. Also, they change few dishes everyday which is nice. Overall, yummy breakfast and a confortable stay at pretty property. For me, it is worth the spends :-)

It was all good there, except the outside ambience and small parking space.

A scenic luxury resort experience located in the old Jaipur city, close to the world famous Amer fort, Jaigarh fort and more. This resort is a landmark in itself, though modern it's interiors and exteriors are inspired by palace architecture and decorated with beautiful art and decor that can rival many historical palaces of Rajasthan! We had a lovely stay with the family.

They have an infinity pool! It's simply stunning however the water gets freezing in the winters during Nov-Jan, which is a loss for the hotel and the guests alike as this mould otherwise be a central attraction in this property. 8 recommend that they make it a temperature controlled pool.

This is a great place yo stay. We had fun in the game room which has lot of games. The food was tasty and the staff especially in the restaurant was spot on and polite. With respect to facilities 5/5 stars.

Only that is not great is the location of this hotel. We booked this for our trip to Jaipur and were dependent on cap and rickshaws for transport. It is very difficult to get a public transport and which ever you get they charge you double because they dont get ride back from this hotel.

The spread of breakfast and dinner was very good. The room was big enough for 4 of us including 1 kid. However it could have been cleaner. The staff was courteous. Overall a pleasant stay.

The hotel is far outside the city. Also the cleanliness of rooms is questionable. Had to ask twice to clean the toilets before we can use it. They have tried to make it as Haveli structure though its a new building with just a look of old Haveli.

Exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent and the breakfast good. The rooms were superb; beds - Zamindari four posters with canopy - back to the days of royalty. rooms with a view of the small mountains and a spacious lawn to boast. The surroundings were serene. You have to have a car or taxi in waiting as it is about 13 kms from the city and 7 Kms from Amer Palace. It is just off the Delhi - Jaipur highway

The swimming pool, detailed construction that give a good feel of the past architecture and Morden amenities. beautiful view from the 7th floor, delicious food and very good breakfast

There is no Resturant on the 7th floor and the staff was very reluctant to serve there saying the restaurant is in the ground floor. it is far from the city

Hotel is good, staff is good and they helped us in my wife health issue matter. The furniture of hotel and room is good. They have good swimming pool on top floor and on the top the view is good. But be careful while doing swimming as they do not have any protection grill on the other side of pool on corner ( recently I had seen video on whats app that one young guy was get down from swimming pool on top floor to ground ( not of this location) as he was walking on the other side of pool and he get slipped and he died) . I will request management to consider on this safety aspect also.

The location of hotel is far away from Jaypur city. If you want to do sight seeing or any outing it will be very costly. The taxi fare for jaipur city sight seeing is generally around Rs. 2200 but if you are at this location then they shall charge you around Rs. 3000 as it is out of jaipur. They helped us to find the doctor for my wife and in that way their service is good, but even that doctor was 10 km away from hotel.

The hotel was amazing and value for money. Hotel staff were professional catered to all our needs. The rooms were beautiful and spacious for 3 people in a room.

There was some bugs in the rooms majorly because of the rain but the rooms should be checked before check-in. The food taste was not very outstanding. They can definitely improve on that.

The clean rooms and well maintained facility. It was a great decision to stay at this amazing place.

The communication between the staff. We had to order another drink as the one that came earlier was destroyed because of a housefly. The server at that time said that we had to talk at the reception while checking out and they'll waive off the bill that he had created for that drink. Housefly should come under the property's cleanliness. Regardless, we were ready to pay for it but 'just because' the server said that it will be waived off, and later at the reception, it was not communicated as well as it was denied plainly by the reception guy, it wasn't so pleasant an experience. Everything until then was great.
