Jai Niwas Garden Hotel

We enjoyed our stay, and it allowed us to really rest….not always easy in India. The room was spacious, very clean, beds were very comfortable and sheets super clean, also the bathroom was very clean. Good hot water pressure and everything was calm and easy. the garden is pleasant and the location was good for us as you can reach most of attractions on a 10 min rickshaw drive. we didn’t try the restaurant. we enjoyed it because it is quiet while being central. The breakfast was good quality.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and lovely, clean rooms with very comfortable beds and hot shower, this is a hotel in a perfect location in Jaipur. They offer all services and we booked a sunset trip with a clean car and careful driver. My husband was a bit sick during our days, so it was an excellent, quiet hotel to relax. It was easy to get to all the main sights, yet the garden felt calm and peaceful. We highly recommend this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by Jai Niwas. The room was a large size, simple but comfortable - with solid fixtures and restful bed - desk etc. Clean good quality bedding and linen. Nice comfortable communal sitting area outside our room. The breakfast was very good with western/Indian variety and delicious home made plum pickle offering a highlight. At night the restaurant had a handwritten specials list at the counter where you order. We always ordered off this rather than the menu and were not disappointed! It was so good we stayed in for our evening meals! We would stay here again. Very good value and close to old city. Lovely to have our meals in a peaceful garden setting.

We loved our stay at Jai Niwas. Very clean, bright and pretty room. Great bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and very good and well-priced food for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The hotel is quiet, tucked away from the main roads. The garden, plants and flowers were very neat and made for a nice enjoyable place for downtime away from the bustle of Jaipur!

It's not the most economical stay in Jaipur. It's totally worth the price if one spends some time relaxing at the hotel or take advantage of the support it offers to tourists. If one is looking for a rather pragmatic quick and easy stay it may be best to look for something a bit cheaper.

This was one of 4 different 3*hotels we visited across India. It is a garden hotel with most rooms overlooking a garden courtyard. We visited in December when temperatures dipped below 10°c at night so outsdie the rooms it was cold. There are heaters provided in each room (which are a little noisy!). We were in a value room which qas nicely decorated in a traditional style with a rustic feel. The bathroom was old but shain felt rustic, the shower was great and seperated so water wouldn't fall over the floor. The room was clean. The best part of the stay was the breakfast and food! Breakfast was a combination of traditional Indian and european continental - the food was of an excellent standard, as was the food in the reasonably oriced restaurant. Service from staff was also great. Overall a good stay and good value for money.

There was alot of noise in the room during the night - I think mostly from the surrounding residential buildings. The area when walking outside the hotel compound wasn't the best with most shops a good 10 min walk away. Was centrally located in Jaipur though so close to the pink city area.

The room was spacious and very clean. The buffet breakfast consisted of a range of Indian and Western dishes. All were very tasty. The meals ordered a la carte at other times of the day were also good. The hotel is built in a semi-colonial style with lovely verandas, gardens and open courtyards. Although located not far from the centre of Jaipur, it is in a quiet corner of the city. I could imagine coming here for a longer stay to do a course (or a retreat) or to do some writing (our room had a lovely writing-desk).

Nothing major to complain about. The staff were mostly serious in their demeanor but were nonetheless attentive to our needs.

There is a rustic feel to the hotel. It has beautiful green lawns. There was a lot of space in the room and it was clean. The washrooms always had hot water, which is very important during the winter. A heater was also provided in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. The complimentary breakfast spread was good. The staff were very helpful. As we had to leave early on checkout day, they packed breakfast for us, which was so kind. Parking is also available at the hotel for those traveling by car. The hotel is located very close to the city center. I would definitely stay here if I visit Jaipur again in the future, and I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Jaipur .

Breakfast was excellent. Everyday 2 fruits, 1 fruit juice, Banana bread, cereals, sandwiches and 2 main breakfast dishes like paratha, poha, idly, poori etc along with excellent masala chai or coffee. We had booked a family room and we were lucky to get 2 interconnecting rooms in it with a balcony. Bed linens were very clean and ironed. Room was beautiful with a traditional look.Staff were very nice and helpful. Though the approach to the hotel failed to impress, the inside of the hotel was great.

Toilet paper could have been of a better quality. Though the towels were clean, they could have been whiter and little fresher.

We loved everything about this Hotel. It’s located in a quiet and very central area of Jaipur City, the rooms are very spacious, have a beautiful colonial and indian heritage aesthetic and are very clean . The beds are comfortable and the linen and towels are very soft . The breakfast is delicious and offers many indian and continental options . The gardens are wonderful and the staff are very sweet and friendly .

Everything worked, the room was spacious with high ceilings and the fittings were tasteful and solid. All the staff were helpful and gave the hotel a great energy. The restaurant was appropriately priced with good home cooked food and served by staff that cared and took pleasure in giving good service. The hotel reception was welcoming and helpful. This hotel is the best run family hotel I have ever stayed in…family run hotels are the best in the world, they really care about their guests👍🙏
