Ramada Encore Jalandhar

I have stayed at this hotel for many years and every time I visit Jalandhar. Whilst the hotel is a little tired now and could do with a freshen up, the service is exceptional. Especially Manmeet at the front desk and her colleague Pramod. The first class service continued in the restaurant where one of the members of staff Love always provided a service with a smile. The hotel could do with a freshen up to maintain a comfortable stay. They no longer have English movie channels. WiFi needs to be improved as keeps disconnecting

The staff are incredibly humble and friendly, they go above and beyond to help you and to ensure your stay is comfortable. The staff at breakfast treated us so nicely and would make masala chai for us when they saw us walk in as they knew we had it every day. The rooms are spacious and clean the AC was a godsend in 42 degree heat! The bathrooms are clean and modern too. Really easy to hail a tuktuk outside the hotel. The room service was great. Thank you to all the staff who went out of their way for us.

The hotel description said there was a gym on site but there wasn't. There's a function room on 1st and 2nd floor with functions happening every evening. We were on the third floor so it was quite noisy in the evenings. My aunt stayed on the fifth floor and she could also hear the music from there. We still managed to sleep with the noise, but it would be nice to have sound proof rooms so you can't hear this.

Great service from all the serving staff who made us feel welcome. I have stayed here twice over the last few months since my wedding. Plus there is a great gym right across the street with a kfc just below it.

More western items for breakfast would be great such as waffles, sausages and bacon. However everything else is great.

Room size I booked for 2 guest but they offered me small room not good as I paid for 2 guest 🙃. The room was for one guest but I managed due to hotel hospitality because I love to stay to enjoy weekends while here I'm in India. They have to think about it if someone permanent guest of your property.

Breakfast was really good and lots of choices. Staff was really friendly. Love one of staff member was really helpful overall experience was excellent. Would love to go back.

Staff were friendly, food was nice also. The breakfast buffet could have done with some more variety, however I was told by the staff that it changes everyday.

Booked a twin room but on arriving in room it smelt like someone had smoked in there very recently. The hotel should be made a non-smoking one indoors. Room was changed with no issues however we needed to have a extra single bed put in.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good. Property location is also good and quiet. They provide pickup from railway station. Highly recommended.

Rooms were slightly small. The driver allotted for pickup from railway station was driving recklessly. They are no medical, confessionary, etc shops in walking distance, you have to take cab in case of need.

Very well designed, the housekeeping guy was very kind and helpful, not sure his name. Bed was very comfy.

Shower can be improved as when having shower the water comes out from the shower.

Breakfast was really good. All the staff were very helpful and made sure we were looked after.

Our room was good but slightly on the small side for 3. But overall no complaints.
