Radisson Srinagar

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Hotel in Srinagar for a week-long trip, and I cannot express how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that made me feel right at home. The entire staff greets guests with warm smiles and a welcoming attitude. Additionally, for breakfast, they also offer Kashmiri noon chai, which was a delightful experience for me 😊. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Mr. Tahir, who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. He was always there to assist with any questions or requests I had, and his professionalism and genuine care for guests truly stood out. His dedication to making my stay pleasant was greatly appreciated and made a significant difference in my overall experience. The room I stayed in was not only spacious but also impeccably clean, and the bathroom, in particular, was a shining example of the hotel's commitment to hygiene and guest comfort. It's evident that the Radisson Hotel Srinagar takes cleanliness seriously, which is especially important during these times. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in maintaining the room and bathroom. Safe as well as an iron and ironing board, were not initially available in the room. However, upon contacting room service, a new digital safe was promptly installed, and the required iron and related accessories were quickly provided.

The hotel's taxi service is rather costly. Instead, when needed I chose to utilise local app ride services similar to Uber, which were significantly far less expensive for getting around the city.

Food and service👍👍 All the staff were exceptionally good 👍 especially F&B department, all were too good…… Very polite and friendly, one of the best service one can expect… I would rate 10 out of 10

Rooms need to be renovated, price I felt was bit high for that property as it was a old building, and nothing great about the room for that price Anyway overall experience was good 😊

The location is good. Liked positive attitude of all the staff towards the guests. Had travelled from Phalagam, and the front desk manager made it a smooth process for check-in. The GM, Manoj, and the F&B manager, Irshad, to mention a few, were present to assist the guests

Room decor, it needs urgent modernisation by the owners of the property. Basic amenities are not catered for in the rooms. Noises can be heard from neighbouring rooms. The owners need to modernise the kitchen area and dining area as you can smell the food while in your room. Overpriced for the facilities you get, but the hotel staff can not be held responsible.

We asked for a room with a view and got a 4th floor corner room with panorama windows on two sides with a view of Sankara hill. We could enjoy sunrise over the mountains from the room. The room was quite large with a very comfortable spring mattress and pillows ensuring we slept well. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and the a la carte menu delicious. The staff were very hospitable, pleasant, and helpful. We enjoyed meals in the central atrium to melodious music. Air conditioning was perfect.

At times there was no hot water.

So, I had read reviews about the property where people who had made bookings through third party weren’t given accommodation etc., and as my booking was a last minute one through booking.com; I too was curious as to the nature of this issue. Thankfully, the people at the property responded and confirmed my booking. It was smooth sailing post; from pickup at the airport, to checking in and the stay. They even helped in booking a car for few hours for sight seeing around Srinagar. The food is good, though I had hoped for more local delicacies. The only issue I had was with the extension phone which had a lose connection, but other than that was a pleasant stay. One of the plus is the location.

Excellent caring staff. The staff made our stay a memorable one. Great brekfast and dinner. The location is good but lacks greenery and a decent garden normally associated with hotels in the Kashmir.,I would also like to make a mention of Mr Arshad the asstt manager at the facility who was always helpful and courteous. Will definitely stay at this hotel during our next stay in Kashmir.

Staff behaviour,my wife was sick and the frontdesk promptly arranged emergency medicines,that also in late evening...it was an excellent experience,we were in room no 202 and the view of mountains was very good,in early morning,I recommend this hotel,the ambience was excellent

Breakfast spread should be full of varities and can be improved

The Restourent staff exceeded their call of duty. Helpful and very friendly. The bell boy who took me to my room was witty & friendly. He helped me to get a transport at a very reasonable rate. The house keeping staff were extra kind. Provided me more than enough drinking water. Blessing for me as I drink plenty of water. Day shift front Office were outstanding.

The staff was exceptional and very service oriented. All our requirements were met at the quickest possible way. Should appreciate the way they make you feel comfortable. The charges and facilities provided for sight seeing tours were outstanding. If any one want to visit heaven in Paradise Srinagar. Go Radisson they will take care of you fully. The taste of the food were excellent. Slow cooked mutton curry was really out of the world. We enjoyed being guests in Radisson Srinagar. 🙏

Staff, Food & location was what I liked most. The icing on cake was sumptuous gustaba & steam rice which I order in room service and was yummy. Keep up the good work.

As compared to Radisson property across India; bit small. Otherswise ambience wise all was good.
