The location is excellent, as was the service. Starting with the front desk staff- arzoo and muskaan, as well as Nityanjay who went out of their way to get us the room we had paid for on Booking. Com. They had even decorated the room for our anniversary and surprised us with a cake and balloons. The food is superb and the restaurant staff were excellent as well. Every need of ours was attended to. Special mention for Ranvijay, Lokesh, Alamgeer, Suraj, chef Surjit and Amir Bhatt. Thank you all for making our visit so special. This is the place to go to for a special occasion.

It would be nice if they provided some entertainment and activities for the guests.

This property truly has the most beautiful view in Kashmir. Excellent hotel on the top of a cliff overlooking mountains and dal lake of course. Wonderful hotel concierge who made plans for us basically. Probably the only place I would stay in around dal lake. Magical stay ! Thank you Ather!

I would have liked to see more dining options perhaps, and slightly more updated rooms, but that didn’t take away from the natural beauty of this place.

My mum and I stayed at Vivanta for 3 nights. I won’t mention too much about the obvious - stunning views, but what I’d love to highlight is the exceptional service we received! A special mention to: - F&B: Arun, Davinder, Nayeem, Vishal and the entire support staff looked after us like family! We throughly enjoyed the many conversations we had with the team, and to top is all the food was delicious! 10/10 for service, efficiency, attention to detail, and the team accommodating my special dietary requests & quirks (almond milk and a specific brand of mineral water) - A special mention also goes out to Aadil in housekeeping, and the front desk team Thank you for the wonderful memories!

We had an amazing experience. There wasn't a single thing that the hotel couldn't have done better. The stars of the stat were Jasprit at Infinity, and Azra at guest relations. They made our stay exceptionally pleasant and comfortable. Arranging things that were on special request, providing for every request and in a timely manner. They are really the STARS of the hotel. Other notable employees were Ather and Zahoor both were really supportive and had great ideas for us.

Vivanta dal lake was the most beautiful stay we had in Srinagar with the mesmerizing view of the Dal Lake. The manager Iqbal who attended us while checking in was very helpful. Once he came to know my wife's birthday on the same day, he gave us the best villa in the whole property & arranged the delicious cake in the room as a surprise. The Infinity Restaurant serves unique variety of dishes. The breakfast spread is Vast with multiple cuisines.

Everything was simply perfect. Special mention needs to be made of Arzoo at the Front Desk for her warm welcome, hospitality and customer service.

Very expensive and overpriced. Management needs to look at the pricing as it is way over the top when compared to Taj's iconic properties (like Taj Mahal Delhi or Mumbai)

Excellent scenic and serene location , well trained courteous staff, good food and beverages, Well maintained pool, Wi-Fi, land scape & garden.

Hotel is situated on a hill at some distance (atleast 5 kms) from any shops or stores. All the amenities are well maintained but a bit old. You cannot book a table for dinner buffet , it’s first come first served basis, or so we were told!

The location of the property is prime, overlooking the Dal lake. Most of the staff are friendly. Liked the concept of garden outside the room with lake view.

Its a very old property which you can immediately tell by the state of their doors and furniture. Some of the staff lack in their welcoming nature and smile. Breakfast was ok but not what you expect at such high prices.

Service and breakfast spread is great as anyone would expect from Taj group of hotels. Rooms are good. We visited in late November and it did get quite chilly . The room heating system is excellent.

We had booked the hotel for it's great view. However at the time when we visited, Srinagar was getting quite foggy so there was absolutely no view or visibility. However this is an area beyond hotel's control. There is a slide and swing - which needs some maintenance and would be good + for kids.

Very warm and efficient service; excellent food and great location. a special mention of Mr. Danish at the Restaurant who along with the Chef went out of their way to prepare special Kashmiri dishes and Mr. Shaikh of housekeeping who ensured that our room had everything we needed. The travel desk and the drivers they assigned Zahoor and Fayyaz were very helpful and went out the way to guide us well.
