Pretty much everything ... All staff were great - friendly and helpful, professional and polite. Lovely comfy, clean bed and soundproofed room - didn't hear a peep from beyond the door! Excellent breakfast. Forgot to ask where the yogurt was from. Yum! Try it! The 5-minute walk from 'downtown' Kenmare back to the hotel via the (well-lit and safe) shortcut pathway .. especially after overindulging each night at one of Kenmare's really, really good restaurants. Short stay, so didn't have time to try the hotel restaurant, but chatty locals told us it's a regular eatery for them. And locals know the score! Especially 'dem Kerry ones ;)

No complaints. We had a lovely, chilled stay in Brook Lane.

From the moment we entered the premises of Brook Lane we had a great feeling about the place. We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception who checked us in, sorted our dinner booking and showed us to our room. She then sent up tea for us as we got settled in. We made our way to the restaurant then and there was a happy, relaxed atmosphere all around. The restaurant was busy but there was plenty of friendly, attentive staff to see to the customers' needs. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and were glad to hear that the chef uses items/produce on the menu sourced from their own farm our nearby. We were advised by staff about walks around Kenmare town so after dinner we made our way to the town. When we returned later on we were delighted to see that there was a wide range of television channels available. The facilities were lovely and clean. The following morning we browsed the breakfast menu and enjoyed some delicious scones, fruit and juice while we made up our minds about the hot breakfast options from the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and we hope to return to this beautiful hotel in the not too distant future. Thank you Brook Lane 💓

Everything was great. No complaints

Breakfast was delicious both the well-stocked buffet and the freshly cooked hot choices. Big comfortable bed and pillows. Evening meals were delicious too. The complimentary room service sparkling wine for my husband's birthday was a lovely surprise. The manager offered to take us into town if our taxi didn't turn up !

Didn't like the key card being removed from the slot on the wall by housekeeping in our room every day. We like to leave our devices charging when we go out for the day. It's a drag having to go to the desk to ask for a replacement card so we can charge up the batteries on our devices when we get back to our room.

Breakfast was hot, choices were given plus a cold buffet. Rooms very clean, good space, beds very comfy. A short walk to central Kenmare through a delightful path across the street. Restaurant, bar on premise. Staff attentive and very friendly. We came back a second time on our 3 weeks in Ireland. Would return and recommend to all.

The only thing was the color of the outside building, it belies was it had to offer! Subjective!

The breakfast was delicious and I appreciated that the food had been sourced locally. I also thought that it was a nice touch to have local arts and crafts products on display and available for purchase.

I was a bit dismayed at first to find that there were no tea making facilities in the room. This was not a problem, however, as a tray was brought to my room when I requested it. There was also the option of contacting reception to have tea or coffee brought to the room.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and the delicious biscuits that were complimentary when getting tea to the room was a lovely touch.

No AC in the bedroom and it was very hot during my stay, however, the fan that was put into the room did help a little. Thought the hotel a bit pricey given that there were no extra facilities such as pool etc but I would still recommend this hotel to others.

Staff were lovely, very accommodating and friendly. Food was very nice too! Our breakfast was included, nice yoghurt & fruit, cereals, croissants, scones, etc. and a good hot breakfast selection on the menu :) Nice area as it’s lovely and quiet, just over 5 mins walk into the town, but there is a Centra right across the road from the hotel anyway which was very handy! In general I thought the people of Kenmare were very nice, any shop we went into we felt very welcome so there was a very good vibe around the place.

The pillows weren’t very comfy as you sunk straight through them so not great if you have a bad neck/shoulders. No tea/coffee facilities in the room was a little more inconvenient than I had imagined as I drink a lot of hot water throughout the day and before bed (you could order tea & coffee to the room) but other than that it was fine :)

There was a heatwave during my stay & I had never experienced such humidity since I was in the US. The hotel was comfortably cool. The bedroom was very spacious with a full size standing powerful fan, 2 bottles of water. The receptionist accompanied me to my room & arranged to have cold water delivered from the bar at any time. I had dinner in the hotel- very good. Breakfast was first class.

Absolutely no complaints.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! We booked a family room for 5 people and we got a whole apartment! It was so plush and fancy! It was like something out of an interior design magazine. I loved all the art work on the walls and really enjoyed the Rhoda Taylor paintings. The breakfast was absolutely divine - one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had - definitely 5 stars!! The staff was so friendly helpful and accommodating. A shout out to the lovely receptionist Caroline who made us feel so welcome. Hotel is only 50metres to the centre of the town. I would definitely return to Brook Lane Hotel again.

My husband and I were traveling with another couple. The woman was elderly and had back issues. We were using public transportation. The bus dropped off about 10 minute walk. No issues if you are in good form. But the elderly woman was unable. I contacted Maura from the Brooklane hotel. She collected us from the bus. The hotel and people were fabulous. The scones and pork sausage are made fresh from their farm. Will stay again five stars 🌟
