B&B Il Melograno Antico con Terrazza e Giardino0

Mossimo was a great host! He met us in the town on his motorcycle and drove us up to find parking at his B&B. He really goes out of his way to please his guests. Breakfast were simple... croissants and fruit. He speaks limited English but we used Google Translate when we need to. We were with 2 other couples and loved the town of Agrigento and all the sites.

We were hoping there would be a patio for the 6 of us to sit out and visit. In the pictures he shows one, but it was not completely set up due to cooler weather. Finding parking near the B&B was a challenge and very narrow streets!

Massimo was a fantastic host! He was very helpful and always available, even going out of his way to drive me and my partner to the nearby Valle dei Templi (15 minute drive away) and drove us to the coach station when we checked out on our last day there. A wondeful, friendly service from a nice person. The room was just right, with an en suite bathroom and we also had a really nice breakfast included as well. The location is right in the heart of the town in Agrigento and a short walk from the local cathedral, really good restaurants and other sites.

Massimo was very kind to us, he gave us lots of useful information about the Agrigento city and its surroundings (places to visit, good restaurants). Breakfasts were exceptional: very tasty and abundant meals with various local specialities. The location is also perfect - in the center of Agrigento, at the beginning of a remarkable and picturesque avenue with several restaurants, shops and bars. I had no problems finding a parking place very close to the apartment (about 20 meters away). The location is a perfect starting point for visiting the Valley of the Temples, Stair of the Turks, wonderful beaches and other local attractions. We highly recomment this B&B!

Fantastic host Massimo - he couldn't have been more helpful! He came down to the main piazza to meet us and took us up to his house where we were able to park. He then gave us lots of info about the town and what things we should go and see - including the fabulous cathedral. He also gave us info on the Valley of the Temples which we were booked to see the next day and showed us how to download an app as a guide to the site. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of choice, really generous and he provided gluten free items for my husband.

The bed was a bit too soft and squidgy for us but mattresses are a very subjective thing so it was probably fine for most people.

The owner of the place was really nice. He helped us to find the best (free) parking spot for our car, he also let us chose the room since there were two rooms available for that night. A big compliment also to his son! He explained to us all the must-sees and where to find Restaurants etc. He spoke really good english as well. The room itself is really big, calm and clean. For breakfast we had a great selection of italian food.

Massimo was a wonderful host- was so helpful in making our stay in Agrigento wonderful! B&B is perfectly situation and short walk to restaurants in the old town. Massimo was most helpful in helping us get a parking space close to the b&b. Also, breakfast was fabulous.

If I had to mention, shower was slow to drain and appeared to be blocked! But not a major issue!

Il nostro soggiorno ad Agrigento è stato fantastico e avremmo voluto stare di più! Massimo is a great and generous host and we recommend this place 1000 times. The location is really unique, quiet and in the city center and Massimo helps you in finding parking in front of the house. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with all what you need (fridge, towels, free water, a clothes rack, products for personal hygiene). The bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the court yard even better! Massimo is the perfect example of how a host should be (he also carried our luggages to and from the house!). From an Italian and French (and German) point of view, we cannot recommend this place highly enough to you! Straordinario! Grazie mille, Anita & Laurie

Easy check in, breakfast, wifi, size of the room we had (was almost a two bedroom). VERY CLEAN! Accommodating staff (Massimo met me to find finding parking but I easily found parking on the street. Lots of steps to climb in 12 minutes drive to the temples. Walk to many restaurants. Keep in mind there are many steps in this city, no matter where you stay

We could have not asked or booked better accomodations. Massimo was an incredible host. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable bed and a breakfast out of this world. The location was also a plus as it was very close to city center. We would highly recommend B&B Meligrano for your stay in Agrigento. We look forward to our return.

The host was very helpful and friendly. He came to the main area and drove us to his property as it was not easy to find. The breakfast was good.

The beds were hard and not comfortable, but laying out the pillows helped as they were softer (unlike many of our stays).
