The cleaning standard, the decoration standard was excellent. The view stunning. IT IS AT THE VERY END OF THE RESORT. The walk down to Amalfi town is a shallow gradient , so not bad, partly pathed, sometimes you have to dodge the scooters. NOTE there are no taxis in Amalfi that are suitable for short trips, as there is only one road they want to go further distance. the walk is pleasurable and about 20 mins to the centre.

Would have preferred to have the breakfast next door. Didn't fancy the room delivered one. HOWEVER a short 2 minute walk to the GAS bar for some nice croissants and coffee is nice to mix with the locals. they're open all hours! perhaps another small chair for the balcony The beach is a challenging walk down if you want to go, but it didn't bother us. not sure if there's always a charge, I didn't pay later on in the day. The Parking was VERY GOOD at the GAS BAR GARAGE 1 minute up the hill. Perhaps a touch expensive at 30.00 Euro per day, maybe a discount for 2 days. but the guy is lovely there....

Very clean and light room, very close to the beach and excellent breakfast with a view. Definitely worths it.

If you want this view - yes you have to climb a little, but there also buses from port and you can stop near the hotel(I didn’t know about that so that’s why I walk up with a luggage) but know you know ;) take buses

Excellent B&B. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good location - close to the beach.

The views from our room were sensational. The hotel is perched on the cliff with a south eastern aspect, on the sea side of the road so we had a completely uninterrupted view out across the Tyrrhenian Sea and down to Il Duoglio beach, some 440 steps directly below. Being so high up made the balustrade on our terrace feel a little low and perilous, but that seems to be quite standard for buildings in those parts. You'd definitely want to take care in strong winds!

Dimora Del Maestro had just opened and we were among the first guests, so some teething issues were to be expected. The absence of clothes hangers or of a sanitary bin in the bathroom or a waste basket in the bedroom were perhaps forgiveable (and were provided upon our request), but breakfast in Hotel La Ninfa next door, which is owned by the same family and which has existed for a long time, was very disappointing. The "Seasonal fruit" offered with each day's breakfast consisted of a tired single apple - definitely not seasonal for southern Italy in early July! Decaf coffee was not available on two of the four mornings. There were no curtains in the bedroom when we were there. Security left plenty to be desired: The lock for the door to the street didn't work for the duration of our stay, even though the proprietor said it would be fixed the day after we arrived, so the door was permanently wide open, night and day. Half way through the stay we realised that the keys to all the bedrooms were kept on hooks in an unlocked, unsupervised (and mostly open) cupboard on the first floor which was accessible to anyone! Even more worrying was that nobody noticed when, in the interests of our own safety, we took the keys for our room off the hook and kept them in our room for the rest of the stay!

1-Overpriced 2-The cost = 250 euro to taxi (from salerno) + booking cost 2- no balcony (window with a form of balcony) 3-long down stair 5-The wall and ceiling are not insulated, which leads to noise 5-I was at salerno waiting the bus the reception called me and said that if i don't check in before 9 then he will charge my card with the stay cost and reject the booking So I paid 250 euro to the taxi to arrive on the time
