Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi Coast

Absolutely exceptional in every way. The staff were amazing, friendly, knowledgable, and went above and beyond to accommodate any request you might have. Our room was like a small apartment with a private terrace, sitting area, palatial bathroom with soaking tub. Small things like plenty of closet and dresser storage to unpack for 5 days and make the place feel like home. The patio and views were like a postcard. As this visit was for our honeymoon they had arranged a special table with treats and champagne for our first night, including flowers on our bed as part of turn down service. I've stayed at many high end properties and this was the best one I've ever been to. The gardens around the outdoor lunch area and next to the pool were beautiful. The infinity pool was heated and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy that even on a few days that weren't particularly hot. All of the food from breakfast to lunch, to the bar, and the high end restaurant were fantastic. They helped arrange transportation for all of the local activities we wanted to do, all of our drivers were fantastic and shared details about the area - I feel like we learned a ton from chatting with them. It was a fantastic experience for our entire visit. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

An amazing hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and served in a room with an amazing view. Dinner in the Belvedere Restaurant was wonderful and drinks in the bar listening to live music was a great end to the day. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The Amalfi Coast area is beautiful, but pretty congested with traffic and crowds. The Belmond Caruso and the town of Ravello were a picturesque and peaceful oasis.

Picturesque and simply magical! Staff is impeccable in every way and make you feel as if you are the only ones on the property! The reason we will return is because of the service and detail from the staff! Absolutely extraordinary!

We were not prepared for young children and typically do not expect to see children under 12 at a property of this caliper. Many babies.

Beaurifuly located. Demanding but beautiful scenery for the morning run. Friendly staff and a very helpful manager. The fine dining restaurant was very good. The wine selection was excelent.

The dishes from the night menu available through room service were rather poor. The wine selection available through the night service was quite limited compared to the restaurant wine list

We’ve stayed at multiple 5 star hotels where the service has been impeccable but somehow Caruso has managed to top all of them. The location, views, and architecture are all great but what stands out is the little things they do like the small gifts with notes. They really go above and beyond and I don’t see myself staying anywhere else next time I’m in Amalfi coast.

It’s a Belmond, not much to not like. Superb property in an absolutely stunning Amalfi location. Staff, rooms, and food were wonderful, special thanks to Armando and Marco for making a great stay into an amazing one. …Armando, baby Isla ate all the blue buffalo and olives you gave us even before we left Italy!

This is without doubt one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in, the service was absolutely incredible. Not a single detail was missed by staff during our stay; Ariana, Pascale and Iolanda were all so attentive and kind to us during our honeymoon here. Everything about this day was exceptional, I can't find fault.

There's absolutely nothing I would change

EVERYTHING was top notch. This was the best vacation we have ever had as a family. We have been to some amazing places and hotels, including the Belmond Splendido in Portofino, Castello de Casole in Ruscany, Encanto in Santa Barbara, One and Only Palmilla in Cabo, etc. Caruso was by far the best - quiet, classy, welcoming, service, food, hospitality, …

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The staff is what made this stay extra special. I can’t say enough about how professional, kind, accommodating, and lovely they were. The hotel itself is a dream and everything was beautiful but the cherry on top was the exceptional service by the hotel staff.

In short, the hotel staff made us feel like we were the only guests. Belmond Caruso set the bar very high. High attention to detail that most guests may even miss!

The breakfast service/communication is a little broken…few orders misunderstood, mistaken, but not a big problem
