Hotel Fontebella

My stay was amazing! During breakfast I met Daniella. She is fantastic, she is very sweet, professional and attentive. Daniella made me feel welcome and confortable. The food was great! In addition to that, the whole Staff was very professional, helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. However, is the staff that made my stay a fabulous one. Gradzie Mille!

Everything was fabulous! I have nothing negative to say.

we spoke English not Italian and the staff really helped us book in our activities and made great recommendations to us. the staff arianna and Riccardo went above and beyond - my auntys glasses broke and Riccardo temporarily fixed them for her. really appreciative of Riccardo. thanks

no tea or coffee facilities in room available

Very beautiful property, but even better were the employees-from the front desk to the restaurant and breakfast room. Front desk helped with a logistical issue, Daniella in breakfast room was a dynamo and good food too. We ate at the restaurant 3 times and from the chef’s testing appetizers to the olive oil to our considerate waiter, who translated the menu to English for us more than once, all were first class. Parking was available right across street, and view out of our window was splendid. Bed was big and comfortable. Hope that we can return again someday and will recommend to everybody that we know.

Bathroom lighting was pretty but kind of dim for applying makeup/husband shaving.

The staff are exceptional. My room had a leak in the bathroom and they transferred me to another room with an upgrade. The Reception Staff were wonderful. During my two night stay I met several people in Reception and every one of them was courteous, helpful, friendly. The quality of service is exceptional.

My first room was a little cramped and the bathroom especially was tiny!

The restaurant in the hotel is outstanding. The food was delicious and highly imaginative. The waiting staff were also excellent. We dined there both nights that we stayed there. The position of the hotel is ideal for exploring and we had a lovely view over the countryside.

We had a problem with our room but it was quickly solved, and we were given another room.

The room was comfortable and well laid out. Plenty of room to spread out. The staff was very helpful.

The breakfast was mediocre. If a large group was there early, there was very little to eat. The bar was not well stocked.

Location could hardly be better, with everything in easy reach. Room was fine with a great view over the plain. Breakfast was absolutely superb.

Lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room, but it really is not that kind of hotel - they'd much rather you spend your money downstairs. Water in the fridge is NOT complimentary.

The location and staff were excellent.

Breakfast was okay, but cooked breakfast was disappointing, with grey scrambled eggs!! Thought the garden restaurant was part of hotel, would have been lovely to sit there.

Clean, recently renovated with latest technology facilities such as ac unit, door opening etc yet with classic decor. We had a country view room with breath taking views. Daniela was very helpful. The breakfast was very good too.
