Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum

Breakfast had a good selection, also freshly cooked dishes, the spa is really special, it’s built into an ancient temple underground, and the massages we got twice were simply outstanding. Really central location, everything is in reach by foot. Good design, a quiet place for a relaxing stay.

Two things we were missing: some kind of lounge or relaxation area, also the bar isn’t really a bar. Due to the heat during our stay an outdoor pool would have been much appreciated. Other than that nothing to complain about.

The staff were superb. We were greeted by Carlos and the team with such a warm welcome. We were able to check-in early and had a complimentary glass of prosecco which was a nice surprise. Throughout orlur stay Carlos and Co. were warm, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a stroll into town and the hotel occupies a proud position at the top of the hill. The star of the show here is the spa. A subterranean grotto of luxury unearthed in 2010 and transformed into a breathtaking experiential wellness centre. Included in our stay was an exclusive 2-hour traditional roman spa circuit and it was incredible. Thank you, Carlos and team for making our visit so unforgettable. We will be back!

Nothing. We've stayed in many hotels in Assisi over the years and this is the best.

Breakfast was buffet style for the standard bread, cheese cakes, yoghurt and fruit, there was also a small menu for eggs waffles/pancakes & porridge from the kitchen. It was all very well presented. The hotel is stunning, beautiful spa facilities and lovely gardens. The whole place is super. Bonus being that we travelled with our little whippet who was made very welcome - tho do bear in mind that if booking via a third party there are only 2 rooms which they allow dogs into. 1 suite and 1 standard room which have entry from the courtyard. We booked and paid for the suite but we’re unable to have it as the room had already been allocated. The cost was non refundable via booking.com! Thank fully the hotel accommodated us in the standard room and offered us free parking and no charge for the dog. They didn’t have to do this and personally I thought it was a very kind gesture.

Conveniently located at the Assisi' Roman amphitheatre area just a few minutes walk from the beautiful historical city centre, the Nun Assisi is a must for those seeking a relaxed and top-quality stay at the heart of Umbria. We had the chance of booking the suite nr.10, enjoying the full and exclusive view of the fantastic 1610 wall fresco belonging to the ancient convent just for us, a special and worthwhile perk if you wish to go for it!

THE spa : swimming in hot water with stones, walls , columns of -1 before JC. Incredible. The people : special mention to Alessandro! With 18 rooms every customer is recognized the 2nd day and it creates a very friendly spirit. The room : we got the one with a roof top with view on the old city! Room equipment quality : bed and automatic window Covid : very good management and very pragmatic and efficient SPa access management. We often got the spa for just us !

Maybe the minimalist spirit goes to far in room : no espresso for instance. The restaurant is a bit « trying to fly too high ». Beautiful view but cooking trying to do better than good without the expected success. But the city is full of very good and more reasonable ones.

Simply, everything. Staff were great Room was fantastic - spacious, great standard. Pillows like “sleeping on a cloud” according to my other half Spa area is incredible Breakfast was fantastic. Overall, really really excellent and way beyond my expectations based on the listing

The hotel is beautiful and comfy. The staff was so lovely. Definitely theres value for the high cost.

Although the spa is beautiful and the heated pool is amazing! I wouldn't recommend getting a message for it was nothing special and very expensive in comparison to any othe place. Also wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Stick to the hotel basics.

It was the best hotel on our trip to Italy! Just excellent! All staff was so helpful, friendly and professional! Also, the hotel restaurant was a great experience! The spa shouldn't be missed!

The TV control did not work properly... But that's such a tiny thing that I would not count it as an issue. We definitely could have stayed for longer.

As if Assisi was not magnificent enough by itself, this property only exaggerated the splendor of this magnificent destination! Unique among enchanting Italian cities, so is Nun Assisi Relais Spa Museum unique among the finest hotels in the world!

Leaving

The location, the history, the spa, the breakfast and the staff were all outstanding.

Sound travelled between the rooms and you could easily hear doors opening and closing and people walking and talking outside of the rooms.
