Villa Gervasio

We had an outstanding four night stay here and plan to return in the future! The property is gorgeous, very well maintained, and has stunning views of Baia Castle, the Bay of Pozzuoli, and Mt Vesuvius. Our room was a good size, nice closet space, really spacious bathroom with plenty of counter space. Good water pressure and the a/c worked really well. The bed was comfortable and the room was simply decorated, but had a full length mirror, plenty of outlets, a kettle, mini fridge, tv, hair dryer, etc, and was very clean. Breakfast is served in the gorgeous cave-like restaurant and was good but nothing special; no hot food, but very typical Italian spread. There is a lovely lounge area too. But what stood out the most was the staff. They were all so attentive and friendly and helpful. Truly some of the best customer service I've experienced... anywhere! They even helped us order food to the hotel one night. We loved having drinks on the 3rd floor terrace every evening, enjoying the view. Just something to note - there was an event every night (weddings, I believe). This made no difference to us. There was always still a parking spot for us, twice there was live music (that we got to enjoy), and fireworks. Nothing lasted too late (maybe ended around 11pm) nor interrupted our sleep. The staff, even though there was so much going on, were still attentive to us. It's honestly a beautiful place to have an event! But if something like that might bother you maybe ask the hotel if how many events there will be during your stay. One other thing, which wasn't an issue for us but could be for someone else... you definitely need a car to get there. We were already familiar with the area, so we know what it's like, but others may not. There are not restaurants or shops in easy walking distance. But you need a car in this area in general anyway. It's totally worth it for the gorgeous view!

The Villa was fabulous, the owners( their family) and staff went above and beyond to assure that my daughter and I were happy, I mean they genuinely cared!!

Whatever it was that I didn’t like it had nothing to do with Villa Gervasio!-“and it’s staff!! I’m from the US so we eat whenever we want, but In Italy there’s a timeframe in which meals are served 7:00am- 10:00am breakfast, 12:00pm- 2:00pm lunch and 7:00pm -12 am dinner. This is the culture and I didn’t do my research but at the Villa Gervasio they went out of the way to get my daughter and I something to eat during the restaurant pause period and I am thankful. I’m even considering making this an annual visit !

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice with a lot of choice. The highlight certainly is the great interior design of the hotel and the location on top of a hill with a view. Good value for money.

Our room was very small and dark (window facing a wall). Due to parties taking place at the hotel the first night was very noisy so that we had to sleep with ear plugs. Pillows very thin and uncomfortable. Towels are tiny and thin. Safe didnt work. Stains on the decorative pillows and bedrunner.

Lovely hotel, in a great location and very friendly staff. The room was well equipped and had a wonderful balcony with fantastic views.

Only that the shower could have been cleaner as it looked like it needed a good bleach and scrub around the bottom. The rest of the bathroom was very clean though and was nicely decorated. It would have been nice if the restaurant was open, as it’s too far to walk into the town.

Spectacular modern hotel with an amazing location of a breathtaking panorama. We really enjoyed a vacation of a peaceful atmosphere and a romantic ambience and were surrounded by friendly, helpful & professional staff who offered us a superb & a courteous service. Our room was comfortable, super clean & perfectly equipped with all necessary amenities. Thanks for everyone and to Sig. Pasquale who made us feel welcome and made our stay very pleasant.

Fantastic location with exceptional viewers

Little bit isolated. Need to walk down and up the hill to the nearest public transport. The facility would be recommended to have a small van shuttle or small taxi crew to facilitate transport.

The view from the the gardens is stunning. The common areas of the hotel are very nice and well decorated. Breakfast was very good (few choices, but pastries were delicious and also, excellent coffee).

The room was less well decorated and stylish than the rest of the hotel, which can be a bit disappointing. But it is perfectly comfortable and quiet.

Great staff! Room was very comfortable and clean.

The room has only one window which was the door itself and we had to close the curtains while inside the room. So the sea view mentioned in the room description actually only worked when fully clothed and ready to go outside.

Very nice views, nice rooms, but definitely recommend rooms with city views, because standard rooms are literally facing a wall. Good looking and well maintained territory.

There is no pool.

The room was beautiful with a huge terrace. The view was magnificent!

A very steep driveway to the property. The restaurant had a very limited dinner menu.
