Hotel Torre della Vittoria 1928

Hotel staff were great and very helpful. The location is central to all the sites in the old town and many restaurants. There is a small but wonderful rooftop patio set on top of a bridge between buildings, which offers a view of the main town square yet is set apart and quiet, lovely for breakfast and also for a late day cocktail. The room was larger than most you get in Italy in the same price range. The breakfast menu has great and fresh baked goods and the terrace is a great place to enjoy it.

The cocktail bar has a limited snack food menu and it would be great if it offered more choices for a late snack. The cocktails were, however, excellent.

Central location and view on the cathedral from my room and from the breakfast place was just amazing. The stuff was helpful.

Overheated terribly and one cannot regulate it centrally. Opening windows helped, but since you are in the center, quite some noise was entering until like 3am. The next day I asked to switch off the heating, but it took 24 hours to do so. So also second night I really suffered. When they switched it if finally, it also fully closed my hot water. At 11pm when I came back to the hotel and found this out, the emergency number provided for cases after closing of the reception, nobody replied and never called back. TI had to have a super cold shower with super low water pressure. Even after closing the heating in the room, the floor heating managed to melt chocolate bar in my luggage on the floor - what kind of destroyed present I brought from my home country.

The location of Hetol Torre della Vittoria 1928 was incredible. Everything we needed was there, including helpful and friendly staff, and a fresh delicious brekky daily. I travelled with my 81 year old mum, so a lift was a must. We had a very comfortable and clean room. This hotel was right in the old town of Ferrara, perfect for walking and exploring every day.

Can I suggest some new pillows please! This is really the only negative...not a major problem though.

Great location overlooking the town square - you can walk anywhere from here! I booked a room with a cathedral view and it was a beautiful view, and very quiet despite being in the middle of all the action. The room was spacious and had a desk that was comfortable for me to work from, as well as very fast wifi. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating and made me feel at home!

Keep in mind that Ferrera is a smaller city, so it’s not really possible to find 5 star accommodations - this is probably the best that you’ll get, and it’s a little bit rough around the edges (outdated, tiny elevator - you’ll see this in other reviews). But it’s worth it for a more local, friendly experience, versus staying in Bologna which I found to be overrated and overrun by tourists. It is also worth staying here versus Bologna for the wonderful nightlife (restaurants, bars, winter markets).

The heating system is such that the rooms are very warm and we had to keep the windows open in order to keep the temperature comfortable. It was a minor inconvenience and we would happily stay at this property again.

Excellent location, brilliant view of the Cathedral from our room, very nice staff, good breakfast, interesting building, fantastic food festival outside in the piazza, excellent weekly street market just outside too.

Our room needed a little bit of refurbishment I would say.

The hotel is located in the heart of the historic center, with a panoramic view of the castle. Our room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and included in the price. Excellent value!

the signage needs an upgrade. checkin is on the third floor and to get there one needs to be buzzed in. maybe I missed it but the hotel should make guests well aware of this in advance. other than that, a great place, friendly staff and a pleasant place to stay in beautiful Ferrara.

Everything.. Best staff ever, specially luca,the bartender and everyone at the hotel. Best lokation. Next time i go to italy i will go to ferrera and i thats my hotel. Thanks

Location , nice premises and room (junior suite) were excellent

Antiquated air conditioning was not sufficient as a result the room was very hot and we struggled to sleep at night as a result
