We are very satisfied with this accomodation. Our room (in the apartment ) was comfortable and clean with a private bathroom which was great. We also had an enormous terrace where to sit, look at the downtown and sip a coffee. It is located halfway between the bus station and the old city centre and I would recommend to catch a bus to the accomodation itself. Overall the check in and the checkout experience was really smooth and easy and the owner is very kind and nice and gave us a lift to the city centre too.
Could not stay longer. :)

The amazing host and nice room. The host drive me down to the old town and one of the best views of the city. He told me a bit about the history of the city etc and some amazing tips. I also got help with what bus I needed to get on to get to Pompeii and where the bus leaves from. Definitely recommend!
It is a bit away from the city, but only a 15 min walk so it is fully manageable!

Nice and clean room within an easy walking distance to the city centre. The room and the flat have everything that is needed for a few nights. Additionally, we found all the information given by the owner useful - we have received a number of tips from him re what to visit, where to go, etc.

It was a comfortable well sized room in a shared apartment. It is just a short walk to the historical center of Matera and due to the location it was very easy to find free and safe parking. The host was very nice and friendly and gave us loads of advice about Matera and other areas where we can continue our travel. We also got free maps of the town and tips for walking loops and places to eat. There was free coffee available in this "Bed and Breakfast"
The room and bathroom needs some small maintenance. You will hear the other people in the apartment (e.g. if they have phone calls with their friends via speaker phone). Perhaps a little soundproofing on the walls and doors would help. So bring your earplugs.

The host was nice and the place was clean. Our room had a balcony.
We thought we booked the place in the city center but it was actually outside (the host has 2 places) and on Booking.com, the image, adresses don't show. Beware of which one you book as the once in the center is obviously better located.
