Eolian Milazzo Hotel

Everything. Above all the hotel is beautiful, clean with a fantastic view and the staff is excellent. They are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They are very friendly, always with a beautiful natural smile, make you feel as family. The property is well maintained. Everything works great. Of course the location is excellent and we will miss the view from our balcony every morning. It was an usual hot vacation but our room temperature was always extremely comfortable. The property outside is well kept up. We love all the olive trees around the pool.

Really nice hotel, welcoming & helpful staff, good parking. Stunning views of the marina area all round to the mountain & Etna in the distance. Great location for both the lower more modern part of town & a 5 minute walk to the old town on the hill. Room decor etc modern, comfy, all extras & amenities. Good selection for breakfast Don't miss the Castle complex in the old town, nor the walk down to Venus pool at Capo di Milazzo.

The room was really warm & aircon was not on yet. I guess it's because the room window was in the sun all day but it was not comfortable.

Located on top of a hill but within walking distance to the centre, the hotel offers splendid views of the bay and the surrounding landscape, with the Etna looming in the back. Spacious rooms with nice balconies, decorations in bright tones to make you feel at ease. Amenities include a large pool area that is perfect for swimming as well as relaxing in the sun. Breakfast buffet well organized. Parking available on site. Great dinner with friendly service.

Staff at the reception were very direct and with only basic notions of English. Also, we were part of a wedding group and several of our friends were turned away despite having booked their room months in advance. They were offered inferior accommodation on the complete other side of the city. We supposed the hotel had an overbooking: very unworthy of such an establishment. The bar didn't offer any cocktails despite the alcohol being there.

Hotel picked for closeness to a marina we needed to get to. Whilst up a steep hill the hotel is ideally located for the castle and gives a good view of the port. A walk into the centre of the town took around 20 mins. The hotel was clean and buffet breakfast was plentiful. The room was more than adequate for our needs and comfortable. Our only gripe was our room overlooked the car park entry/exit so going on the balcony was not really an option due to lack of privacy. We were only staying for 2 days so it really didn’t bother us but if staying longer we would have requested a move. The staff were great. They were so helpful and welcoming. We continued to have use of the pool on check out day for as long as we needed.

Balcony had no view.

I was overwhelmed with my room, which was large and had enormous glass windows with a large balcony outside overlooking the sea (and the swimming pool below. The view was so nice over the town and the port and I sat there a while taking it in. I loved the location which was close enough to walk down into the city and I even walked to my boat (to the Aolian islands) and back when I needed to. I didn't need to pay for parking in town, and I was very pleased the hotel doesn't charge for parking. The food was good, too, and one night I just was so tired from walking and hiking that I ordered room service in the room, which was fast and delicious. The swimming pool was very nice each day after walking around the city and islands, and I enjoyed soaking in the pool and watching the sun set.

Check-out was the only thing that went badly for me at the hotel. There was a grumpy lady who didn't seem to know what she was doing and was trying to handle a few customers checking out (and checking in) and she was slowwwwww and a little bit rude. Other than that, my time there was perfect.

-Road was closed on our arrival date, so our SatNav lost it. Staff is very good with WhatsApp messages. We would have saved time and felt less frustrated if a message had been sent to us, simply advising us of the re-route and what road to avoid.

The hotel was in a nice location just outside the main centre of Milazzo. The room was very spacious with a great view out over the harbour. The staff on the Reception desk and in particular, in the restaurant, were friendly and helpful. The coffee machine in the room was a nice touch although it wasn’t possible to make a cup of tea.

Although listed as having wifi, my wife and I were unable to connect to any for our entire stay. The explanation from the staff was that they were aware of a problem for anyone using Apple devices. The restaurant’s menu was accessible via a QR code to view online, but as we could not, a computer-printed menu was immediately handed to us. It is a shame as my wife and I found it to be a lovely hotel but this problem detracted from our experience there.

we were greeted by Arianna with a big smile. she was cordial, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was a great one. Arianna made the stay fabulous. she is the very definition of providing outstanding customer service. Grazie Mille!!!

The breakfast was not what I’d expect/disappointed. The selection was very limited and the pastries and bread were not fresh like the other places I stayed during my holiday. Dining staff were not happy and was not service oriented. My bathroom was not clean and needed work.

Our fourth or fifth time staying here, always great. Highlights are the pool, excellent restaurant (food is delicious and prices reasonably), helpful staff and the family suite is perfect if you have kids...so spacious. Rooms spotless with big showers and comfy beds. Extra pool towels at no cost. Can walk down to the seafront, restaurants and bars

Wifi a little slow

Rooms were very nice, the views were amazing and they opened the pool up a few days early for us. The staff were great to work with, check in and out was great and they even arranged laundry for us as we were mid trip.

The only complaint we had was that the beds were very stiff, it may have been the norm as we found this to be the case for most of the places we stayed in Italy.
