Ngonia Bay

What a lovely hotel. I needed somewhere for one night in Milazzo before catching a train & booked based purely on prior reviews, and it entirely lived up to expectations. So much so I would like to return for a longer stay. Such lovely helpful friendly staff, especially Peppe who could not have been kinder and the lovely housekeepers who helped me with my bags, the room was big and comfy with an amazing shower & balcony with great view across the bay. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff so nice with excellent wine recommendation! Nice choice of breakfast. Rooftop with small pool and amazing views. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow me to make use of the garden & pools or the beach opposite, but the location is perfectly placed for a quiet relaxing stay.

This is an amazing place. In a more posh location this would cost many times the price. Rooms are huge and elegant. The location at road’s end across from the beach is amazing. The staff is excellent. The restaurant is an extraordinary value: deliciously and elegantly prepared food in a gorgeous setting with waitstaff that is top notch. Do not miss the dinner experience. One pool is set in a garden such as I’ve never seen at a hotel, the other on the roof. I’m an old man, have stayed in many hotels: this is quite a special place.

Absolutely nothing.

We gave it a 10 because: Very friendly check-in, very nice room, very good mattresses and pillows, very friendly and customer oriented staff, very good location right on the beach at the end of a very quiet street, very good and rich breakfast, very clean hotel, exceptional cleaning of the room, even our shoes were lined up :), very nice and good restaurant for dinner with great service and the WIFI worked perfectly and fast. Thank you very much for the great service to the whole team!

Everything perfetto!

The hotel manager, Peppe, was exceptionally resourceful and friendly! He literally made our vacation several notches better with his recommendations of local food, delis, stores, and basically any information we needed. In general, the stay was flawless. Amazing sea views from the room, the hotel restaurant, and the rooftop pool. Great breakfast, great service. Highly recommend.

Nothing really.

Everything was excellent!!! I stayed with my Mum… Mother, daughter holiday and our stay was perfect!!!! Best hotel, we will be coming back! This hotel was our last hotel after a 5 week holiday around Europe and it was the perfect ending to our trip. A huge thank you to Peppe and all staff they were amazing, extremely friendly, and so helpful, going above and beyond!

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Very modern and stylish with huge rooms and a fabulously comfortable bed. The pool is wonderful and private. We had lunch at the restaurant downstairs and it was fantastic. The staff are helpful and did everything to make our stay memorable. Highly recommend

The restaurants close by to the hotel are not great.

the location, the restaurant and the pool. the staff of the restaurant was exceptional, we had a problem with our car in the middle of the night and they did their best to help us. we did appreciate it!

The absence of a 24-hour reception. The quality of the cleaning: in our room we always had to leave the windows open to bring some fresh air, some spider nets in such a lovely and well furnished room in such an amazing place were a pity. Last, but not least, the breakfast was not “Sicilian style”, I think it could be improved as Milazzo offers amazing delicacies!

We loved the position, the staff and the quality of the hotel,

For the price charged we would expect the hotel to have a bar as well as a restaurant with a small bar, we did make use of the rooftop bar and pool but on our second night the restaurant was closed for a private party and there was nowhere to have a night cap drink after returning to the hotel from dinner.

Beautiful rooftop pool, peaceful grounds, great dinner. We were the only ones there the first night and they kept the restaurant open to serve us dinner. The brunch included made to order omelette, eggs, and pancakes.

The casseta that we stayed in wasn’t as updated as the rooms in the main building. The bar hours were limited. The beach nearby is nothing special and had trash on it.

A truly stunning hotel with fabulous decor and facilities. The staff are excellent and not intrusive. We stayed in a suite with a sea view and balcony which was really well appointed and huge.

Milazzo isn't the most exciting or pretty town so stay at the hotel. Nearby restaurants (eg Marilyn's) aren't great.
