Hotel Villa Condulmer

my husband ans i stayed in the garden view suite in the first floor. the location is super nice. only 20 min by car to the Venice. there are a lot of outside areas around the rooms with trees and greenary. most of the staff were super nice and helpful. we loved the lobby and the antique style,

the rooms are not so beautiful as they look in the website. they could use some love and touchups.... in the last day we saw the rooms that are in the main building above the reception - and these one are really beautiful and specious. the whole hotel is not really 5 stars feeling in our room we didnt have a cattle to boil hot water - whaen i asked for one they brought one that the cup was broken the details are not 5 stars however if you dont expect a 5 stars villa than all is beautiful the restaurant was not open in the day that we arrived so we had to drive somewhere to buy food - and that took a while make sure you bring with you some food for the first day

I liked everything about the Villa Condulmer. I was a little anxious having read some unfair reviews. Our group had a garden suite and a standard double, and both were very suitable: clean, well equipped, wooden floors, modern bathrooms fully stocked with amenities. The suite had heaps of space for two adults and two children. This is a gorgeous heritage property, faded, in an appealing way: magnificent frescos, grand colonnades, vintage furniture, a folly in the grounds, Italian jazz playing by the pool. We loved it. Very clean pool with lifeguard, bar, changing rooms, sun loungers, towels. The restaurant is very pleasant, with lovely staff, and a small but well executed selection (and v nice Childrens meals. Excellent buffet breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, hot & cold continental selection, yummy pastries and cakes, and great coffees. This would be a perfect hq for the veneto with a car. We did not have a car but the hotel introduced us to the lovely Willi, a gentleman driver who helped us with transfers to mogliano veneto and to the airport. Mogliano is a very easy and pleasant 20 mins train into Venice St Lucia, so it’s a great base for Venice especially during the busy summer.

Spending a couple of days or even just a night in the Venetian villa with a history turned into a luxury hotel is a special pleasure. It might be not as polished and modern as the top luxury hotel chains but it’s the place where you feel and breath the history. We passed by in off-season and were lucky to get a great discount. It felt almost unreal to get what we’ve gotten for such a price: a great (even though standard) room with a terrace, very good breakfast, old park for lazy walks, and, moreover, the level of service not at all usual for the italian hotels. Will surely return to this place.

We have stayed 5 or more times. I was going to report it one day but decided not to. One day, my wife sat in. the outdoor dining area with her food for breakfast. I got my breakfast and was going to sit with her at the table. Instead the waitress stopped me and stopped my wife while eating and rudely told us to get up and move to the inside seating area. Patricia was well along eating and the way it was stated to both of us was extremely rude. I was quite surprised as the normal service at the hotels is normally quite friendly and accommodating. Pat asked me not to say anything but if she was my employee and they spoke to our clients this way, she would have been terminated.

The place is enough good. Old venetian villa with a lot of authentic things. The personal was enough friendly. Quiet place. The size of the deluxe room pretty well, wardrobes and slippers are included. Good choice of the bathroom equipment. The pillows are good, it's very rare to meet. The bed wears high quality sheets,very impressive.

For the property needs attention from the owner, needs some maintenance of the walking ways in the garden and around, a lot of little things must be done on the building inside and outside too. Especially in the garden, in shadow of the forest walking ways a lot of work must be done. You can't find the wine glasses in the room, the owner decides served the room table with paper glasses for that, very strange. No welcome drinks, no water without free of charge in your room. The doors and windows are noisy, I knew it's old wooden things, but it's easy to fix, by oil, for example.

Amazing staff. Really helpful. Location is ideal to visit Venice and then relax from the hords of turists (!) Nice pool area, great with kids.

Overall the place is a bit run down. It is still very Nice and authentic, but could use a general overhall to keep the 5 star rating in my view. Minor thing: Breakfast a bit scarce when it comes to options -lost of cakes but not much choice of breads or omelettes ect. Fresh juices was expected.

Best value for money you can hope for in a European 5-star! Not the overpriced and sterile chain hotel’s environment, but an authentic family-owned antique villa with a soul, secluded and picturesque… Garden suites are worth every single penny of an extra charge! Rooms are spacious, ceilings are high and we did not have to put AC on despite scorching 2023 summer temperatures! Pet friendly ))

Nothing, really. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, but the self-squeeze carrot/ginger/cucumber juice station is a highlight anyway!

The staff were unfailingly lovely. The pool was beautiful, and there’s a delightful lake walk around the back of it. There were lots of places to rest out of the hot sun. Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The rooms were excellent, with everything we needed. Air conditioning worked. I have already recommended this hotel to local friends.

Nothing. Although there was a little war of attrition between myself and the lady serving breakfast. Even when I asked for a big glass of water I was given, at most, a 1/3 full glass. The day she wasn’t there I was handed a full glass! It was bizarre.

Large comfortable rooms, free parking, good WIFI, beautiful surroundings, wonderful garden.

You have to ask everything from the person serving breakfast, in a hotel of this quality, why there is no coffee machine and hot water tank for tea. The bowls quickly ran out of eggs, and the cheese was slowly filled afterwards. The quality of the breakfast was good, the selection was wide, only the service needs to be improved with better organization

Historical villa, well located, close to the highway. Decent breakfast with good coffee, we appreciated the machine for making fresh juices. Room was comfortable and spacious. Swimming pool seemed nice and well shaded, but we didn’t try it as we were staying for one night only. Staff at the check-in was great (special thanks and mention to Noemi and Dani).

Property seemed a bit worn-out and would benefit from a minor investment to make it shine in its full potential. Hotel had a nice restaurant with good food, but felt a bit overpriced.
