We LOVED everything. It was just a dream. The room was large and clean with a very large sized adjoining bath that held a shower and a large jacuzzi. The courtyard with the pool had the most mesmerizing view that I would frequently look out over and have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Niccolo and Michele were so accommodating and kind. The breakfast each morning was delicious. It spoiled me to eat cake each morning! There is nothing I would change other than the drive to get there. There is one spot in particular that is super narrow so a smaller car might be better. We made it though and by Italian standards (that I now see )after traveling to Taormina and Catonia, that little blip in the drive was nothing. Italy is a challenging place to drive if you want to see the most beautiful sites. Guarding Sul Duomo is so worth it. We can’t wait to come back.

The view and the localisation are the 2 strong advantages of this hotel. In a few minutes walk (in very nice streets), you are directly in the city center. For the view… you have 2 in just one hotel. One on the Duomo, one on the rest of the city, and it’s wonderful. For the rest, everything was good, especially with regards to the price. Everything is very clean, and just what you need.

There is nothing bad in this hotel. Just not more than 8/10 given the breakfast room which is a bit basic, as well as the room that lacks of charm. But again, seeing the price, it’s very ok!

Michele and Ernestina were wonderful hosts, and very kind and helpful with brilliant English. Also Joanna at breakfast was so lovely.. always a smile, and nothing too much trouble. I didn't use the Pool because it was a bit difficult to get into with dodgy knees, but it looked great, and the garden is very attractive.

The position of the hotel is up above Ragusa, which entails a lot of steps, if you don't have a car. I'm just mentioning this to assist older folk with perhaps knee problems, as I do. But I managed!

This hotel was a great find in Ragusa. The owner, Michele (sic?) greeted us at check-in and made everything easy. We found parking in a spot on the street and didn't need to move the car again. The hotel is so conveniently located with stairs (a bunch of them) leading directly down to the Duomo and the main square. It's great exercise to walk the small city! The pool was great, and Nicholo (sic?), the afternoon manager on staff, was fantastic. He made sure all the guests got whatever they needed from bar service to help with travel issues. This was a lovely, comfortable and affordable hotel in Ragusa, Italy.

This was our second stay here and we would stay again without hesitation. The garden and pool are a super place to relax, yet you are just a very short walk from everything in Ragusa. Accommodation modern but within older façade. The two chaps who run it are very friendly too. A great place to stay!

Personally I’d prefer a buffet breakfast, but this is just a small niggle. Otherwise it was super - lovely cakes!

We arrived around 23h. The door was closed but we got an email beforehand that we could call when we arrived. We had to wait 5 minutes until someone was around. Despite the hour, the person who was welcoming us did not rush. He showed us the room and give us the explanation and took time to answer our questions. The room was spacious and smelled good (reminds us of Dove smell). We had a little issue in our room the next day. When we mentioned our problem, the person at the reception was very understanding and did suggest a solution. The way they were handling this is an example for a lot of other hotels/ B&B's. Breakfast was good. Not a buffet but a menu which you could order. The breakfast is made à la minute. The menu was not extensive but enough. The location was very nice. Although it is kind of an adventure to drive to the hotel with the car. There is also possibility to park in the street (they give you a parking card). The garden was very calm and there are enough loungers to relax.

There was some noise (which is normal in a city centre) but not enough to bring earplugs :-). There is not a lot of shadow in the garden at noon so don't forget to bring SPF.

Ragusa is a beautiful town and this is a perfect place to experience it. The hotel is superb and Michele and the staff could not have been more helpful, including day trip itineraries that were fantastic. The rooms are beautifully renovated and the views are amazing. If you are staying in Ragusa, this is where you want to stay and would highly recommend it as a base for several days to see Ragusa and the nearby towns.

The staff were truly excellent, parking and driving isn’t that easy in Ragusa and I was staying during a local festival, adding to that. The staff proactively called ahead to make sure I knew about the potential issues and helped guests get parking spots close to the hotel. All round very friendly and helpful. They hotel also provides a free audio guide walking tour of the city which was a nice bonus. The garden and small pool are also very nice and enjoyable.

Breakfast was nice with descent choices but it would be more convenient if more items were available as self service.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure even when we going to assist us however possible. Beautiful location, great rooms and customer service, also close to piazza. Rich in history every where you look and go, I would strongly recommend to try to stay more than a day or two to enjoy the serenity of this place in the world. Also there is a little souvenir shop located at the top of the stairs to the left. Very reasonable prices and when you go tell him ilario sends his regards from Australia :)

The property is incredibly beautiful and tranquil, it felt like being at a spa. Ragusa is a bit confusing so it’s a little difficult to find, but once you get there it is so peaceful, with absolutely stunning views of the town and the valley. Our room had a large terrace with gorgeous views of the valley. It is a very short walk to Ragusa Ibla and provides breathtaking views of the Duomo at night. Breakfast is delicious and is enjoyed at individual tables in the beautiful garden. Wish we had stayed longer, highly recommend!!
