Mercure Reggio Emilia Centro Astoria

The size of the room was big and had all the necessary amenities to stay comfortably for a week. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty. May I suggest that they offer another alternative to non-dairy milk for breakfast, besides soya milk, since some people may be intolerant to both. The hotel is very centrally located being within walking distance of the city centre. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in the city centre, just a few steps away from the main attractions of Reggio Emilia and 15-minutes away from the main train station. Also, there are nice restaurants in the area. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of cakes and croissants, and some options for those who like continental breakfast. Staff were friendly

The mattress was a little uncomfortable. Also, despite a big bathroom, the shower was tiny

Location is perfect besides a park and walking distance to shopping and dining. Parking free inside the gate. Well lit at night. The A/C is cold!

Breakfast not included in rate. Price higher than other nearby locations. If the small parking lot is full, have to pay for street or lot parking hopefully nearby.

Superb location, ideal for a stroll into the old town. The staff we every pleasant helpful and efficient. The young guy on reception booked a brilliant local restaurant run by a couple who were welcoming and provided a great meal. Visiting family in Reggio. Convenient location with parking for car. All was fine. Room was tidied and cleaned very well for our 2 night stay. Staff at breakfast very attentive and efficient. Staff all round very good.

Strange bathroom. Reflective glass door opposite toilet. I’m not sure anyone want to watch themselves whilst sitting on the loo, but maybe I am wrong (doubt it…what man designed that?). Bad bathroom lighting for putting make up on too..

The location was ideal. Close to station (by taxi) main highways and shopping area. You can walk to most restaurants and pizzeria’s in the old town, and still get to transport easily.

The air-conditioning in the room took some getting used too, there were no instructions on how to turn it cooler when the outside temperature went up.

Comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. Room was clean and facilities excellent. Very helpful staff. The hotel went out of its way to be helpful for guests attending a major concert outside the city..

Nothing to dislike.

Room faced park with a leafy view. Quiet and clean with comfortable bed. The male receptionist was very helpful when I had difficulties checking in for my flight from BLQ.

the location is great - within old town, short walk to the center, staff was friendly, there was convenient parking

the rooms are small, and you can feel tear & wear everywhere. It is by no means not a luxury hotel, but a very simple hotel. Shower cabin is incredibly small.

Appreciated the central location, next to a leafy Park. Very welcoming and helpful desk staff. Large comfortable room and good buffet breakfast in pleasant room.

Some of the furnishings in our room a little tired looking. Similar story in the bathroom - a little updating required.
