Room at the top of the hotel with large freestanding bath was both peaceful and relaxing. The hotel team were fantastic throughout the stay. The spa treatment was an enjoyable surprise addition in the stay, not something I would normally consider. The location and grounds are peaceful, and though overlooked a little by nearby villas it is very peaceful and quiet. The restaurant was very good and we dined both nights of our stay with some excellent wine recommendations too. Came away wonderfully relaxed, and will look to return again.

The room and the setting of the hotel are just gorgeous - the property is magnificent and IMMEDIATELY one feels relaxed and welcome. The food is very good - as is the choice of wines. Very nice Spa facilities as well... Absolutely charming and peaceful...

We asked to borrow an iron - never received one - or a response. I asked for a vegetarian meal for my wife (strict vegetarian) - again, a promise, but no response...and no meal provided. My wife ordered from the main menu as a result - which was limiting for her at best - so if you can't make a special plate for her, don't promise it!

The property is very pretty with lovely gardens surrounding. Rooms are extremely large with great shower facilities. The dinner offered at the restaurant is very reasonably priced and tasty.

There were a large amount of mosquitos around in the evening. This property appears to be on the edge of a little town when looking at the map, but is quite isolated with not much else to offer close by - so perfect if you want to relax on the property, but not great if you’re looking for variety.

Beautiful quiet room, cozy bed, friendly and helpful staff. The spa facilities were nice. Breakfast was well stocked and enjoyable. The grounds are lovely even though the weather was poor. We'd recommend staying here, and would come back ourselves.

We had a problem with part of our dinner, and were a bit surprised by the lack of follow up for a reasonably serious issue at a nice place such as this.

The room was spacious and clean. The parking is close to the main building. The bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable.

The AC was barely blowing cold air even after setting it to the lowest temperature. The breakfast was mediocre and we weren't allowed to take it to the garden tables. The floor was squeaky.

The property is simply stunning, our journey was superb: comfortable parking easily accessible via the gate. The landscape and the cure given to the outside garden let your senses immerse into relax right away with the perfect grass, threes and flowers carefully placed all around. This beautiful building: solid, authentic and cured to the minimal details. At reception: clear (and not overwhelming) instructions for the stay ( also booked the SPA and restaurant for supper). The room: big spacious bedroom ( the quality of the mattress and linings is exceptional) the built-in SPA system in the shower and every single details to show you class- old & modern Italian style, comfy slippers of our different sizes, lots of towels and soft bath robe. The Spa: the ladies give you few tips on how to proceed. the beauty of booking it is that for most of the time we were alone!!! the jacuzzi is probably one of the best I ever been - spacious & powerful. The restaurant: a small menu is what am looking for, this is not a big commercial chain but a characteristic place that will change menu accordingly to seasons, quality and availability (Bring it on!!!). we had full meal with starter - primo- secondo from local products ( special cheese - handmade pasta- cold cut meat (salumi). The breakfast: my superb croissant was still warm ( due to Covid rules restrictions no buffet is allow and the stuff is preparing your table in advance with your chosen breakfast ) . The coffee is real good !! The stuff and atmosphere is what you would expect in such a place: no shouting, respect of the others kind, welcoming and helpful stuff.

Lovely property on a restored medieval villa, captures the beauty of antique properties with modern layouts and services. We stayed on the La Piccionaia room on the 3rd floor. The spa was great for a rainy day, garden and outside pool are great for peaceful reading.

So relaxing! Excellent location, wonderfully restored building, dream-like garden, great restaurant, lovely spa and friendly staff.

Can be kept waiting a little bit at times as the place is small so there are fewer staff than you would have in a bigger hotel.

Everything was perfection. Every staff member we encountered was a pleasure. I wish I could remember all their names as they all deserve to be recognized. The grounds were beautiful, the spa treatments top notch.

Provide transportation from train station to resort. For a fee of course.

The room was very comfortable. The dinner choices and service was good.

The room was poorly lit; breakfast items were slow to be replenished and breakfast lacked variety of choices.
