Hotel Villa Maria Regina

Helpful front desk, everyone friendly. Good reading light by the bed and lots of hot water! The windows open and there is an elevator. Breakfast is included, excellent luice selection. Room is basic (only the bed to sit on) but clean and attractive. Reasonable price. The lobby had good comfy reading chairs

Breakfast was good the firsy day but the second was busy and the replacement eggs were cold, some of them refrigerator cold. Pastries could have been better. Location is a half hour and 20+ euro taxi ride from the historic sites, a bit longer to the train terminal...probably why the pri e was reasonable!

First of all iwant to thank Mr.francesco. on the front desk who really make things easy and smooth in all way..he helped us in all way he can just to make me feel comfortable he upgrade me from room to suite just to let me feel staitfied .iwas upset at the beginning beacuse I wanted a different room..and he immediately respond..and upgrade me with very affordable price.

It's only the location and there's not alot of variety options in the breakfast buffet.

We arrived from Venice via train for a night before our return flights home to Canada. We choose the property, a northern suburb of Rome, for it's beautiful gardens and peaceful location. After check-in we took a taxi to the Metro Station Cipro on the red line (cost 15 euro) to Barberini stop and walked to the Trevi fountain, continued walking to the Colosseum, up the hill near the park into a high end neighbourhood and found a cute street side cafe for dinner. Continued to walk to the Metro station Manzoni on the red line back to Cipro, & taxi to hotel. The property is well maintained, clean and has knowledgeable & friendly staff. The history of the nuns running Villa Maria Regina was intriguing. Thanks for a restful and rejuvenating stay.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, good air conditioning, exceptional breakfast, kind staff. It was a very good stay.

The shower was super inconveniently built in my room, 1) one wall open, which meant that the complete bathroom was soaked whenever I showered, 2) it was just a wall shower, and pointing exactly into the direction that was open. Who in their right mind could have built that? I would've given a 10 but for this. Please replace it with a handheld shower, it shouldn't mean a big expense, and it's more convenient to shower with that anyway.

Room recently renovated and very clean. Large and comfortable, in room coffeemachine.

The light switches are lit at night which makes it impossible to have room completely dark. A design fault/issue. Apparently no bar service and no food service for evening/lunch or if was there no info was presented by staff. Vending machines were out of order leaving guests without any apparent access to buy drinks/water and snacks. Would expect food and bar service to be available at a 4 star hotel. Apparatus not to be fully up and running post covid yet

We enjoyed our stay, everything was good for what we paid. we asked for a room with a nice a view and we got it. We went to Italy with our car so we can’t say anything about the public transport, indeed the hotel is a bit far from the center of Rome. Parking was safe.

The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast, a bit poor and not so tasty.

The room was a perfect size for me, with a small refrigerator for me to keep some things. There was plenty of storage, and the bathroom was wonderful. I needed a car to get around to see family, so having free and easy parking was absolutely essential to me. I only used the complimentary breakfast a couple of times, but it was delicious and more than adequate. Otherwise, I enjoyed coffee in my room. The women who cleaned daily were extremely flexible in accommodating my late mornings and did superb jobs in keeping my room in order. The people at the desk were always helpful and welcoming. The hotel is extremely well managed.

I liked everything.

A very clean boutique hotel in a quiet area, nearby embassies. We booked this hotel because we had an appointment at an embassy. Very clean and nice room. Very helpful and friendly staff. However, the hotel is far from the city center. And there was no water in our room.

Excellent spacious room (we had a suite). Well appointed and spotlessly clean. We chose it due to its proximity to the Olympic stadium as we were there for the rugby. The hotel made us very welcome and covered my son’s bed in balloons for his birthday- he was very excited. Dinner was great quality

Breakfast is a bit underwhelming for such a nice hotel.
