Mangili Garden Hotel

The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a 3-star hotel. Bathroom was spacious and so was the room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The AC worked perfectly and the street and rooms were quiet. A bit far from all the action, get a cab or grab a bike/scooter (much more fun).

Staff asked us about breakfast time (8:00 AM, which is their earliest) but that's when they start setting the tables, so we started going at 8:30, which was a bit late for us. Minibar inside the closet, which meant it was always warm, not very functional. Towel racks would be greatly appreciated — the room and bathroom are spacious but there's not much of a 'surface' for putting anything. The do not offer a "do not disturb" sign (and we forgot we didn't have one because it's automatic for us to put it on the door as soon as we get it), so they changed our towels every day, which always feels like a waste.

Nice garden 🪴 🌳 🌺 with comfortable sitting areas. In toilet wide area shower, It has a lot of details the deep washer sink to keep water fall away from your face and the water supply is in high position and comfortable position, you dont need to bend your back. I like it so much and will come back again and again.

No thing at all

The staff is wonderful. Everyone from Alina, Lara at the reception and Setu at the breakfast counter to the kitchen staff is amazing. They are extremely polite and friendly. Made my stay very pleasant. The breakfast was great. There was lots of variety. And they were happy to make eggs of your choice with bacon, etc. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location. The gardens are quite peaceful. There is a carrefour within a 5 minutes walk. One can walk down to the city centre quite easily. I walked to the spanish steps and the trevi fountain in half an hour. But there is also a tram station 10 mins from the hotel, going straight towards the city centre. The decor in the reception is quite stylish. One could spend good time in the reception or in the porch just reading whilst being supplied coffees or drinks from the bar. The decor in the room is nice too. The shower is just awesome! The hotel is reasonably priced and surely value for money. Would definitely come back, if only for the wonderful staff. Many thanks to the team.

Perhaps a kettle and coffee or tea making facility in the room would have been nice. The hotel has only ground floor and basement rooms. Luckily, I had the ground floor room. Not sure how the basement room will feel like. May not be bad.

Wonderful small hotel. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff that goes above and beyond to make the stay pleasant and to be helpful. We preferred the quiet neighborhood a bit outside of the hectic and crowded city center. Very well connected to public transport with a bus stop in front of the door/close walking distance. Direct buses/trams to Barberini/Trevi Fountain, Trastevere, and the Vatican. Galleria Villa Borghese with park and the Pincio, and the Spanish Steps are in walking distance.

The mattress was a bit hard for our taste. But other than that nothing to complain about.

This was easily the nicest hotel experience I ever had. The villa is located in a very nice and quite neighborhood but not far from the city center (we walked but you can also rent a scooter/bike or take a bus - the station is right in front of the hotel). The staff is amazing, especially Lara who is a true example of what working in hospitality should look like. Our room was great, spacious, SPARKLING clean, beds are comfy, it smells amazing... and the breakfast is perfect. There is also a nice garden that you can enjoy anytime. We came to this hotel for our elopement in Rome and could not have made a better choice. Thank you Mangili Garden Hotel!

Everything was perfect.

I arrived very late in the evening because of several flight delays. Alina waited for me. She greeted me at the door. She made/gave me a drink to help me relax. She had a nice chat with me. I really appreciated the personal touch. The building is super nice from the outside and inside. My room had high ceilings. It was clean, nice, etc. It had great air conditioning. I could sleep easily even though the temperature outside was between 30 and 40. I was surprised that this place had 3 stars on booking.com. I would give this place 4 stars at least. If I visit Rome again, I would definitely try to stay at the same place.

I was out late and then broke my key (my own fault). I had to hop the fence to get inside the gates. One idea might be to give people key cards for the outside entrance. But, again, it is important to keep in mind that the broken key was my own fault.

The boutique hotel is in a quiet, upscale part of Rome protected by a locked gate and fence surrounding the building and its garden. It is quite reasonably priced with an included breakfast. We spent two nights there while visiting Rome and could not have asked for better accommodations. The staff, especially, Lara, who greeted us on arrival was extremely helpful to every request we had, from restaurant recommendations to transportation around Rome. Even after her shift she continued to look after our queries. At the end of our stay, I felt like I had met a new friend! The hotel has a bar and you can sit outside in the garden with a cocktail or glass of wine or simply remain in the lobby. Breakfast is served either inside or outside in the garden in buffet style but cook to order eggs are also available. Our room was very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel and will look no further the next time I visit Rome.

I don't think anything. It was absolutely fantastic

Loved everything, the location is peaceful, pleasant tree lined streets. Walkable to Villa Borghese, Piazza Del Popolo, Pincio for wonderful views. As a 57 year old Solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable here. It was a perfect stop to rest and relax before my long trip back to New Zealand after 2 months of travel. The room and bathroom facilties were modern & immaculate.. The breakfasts are the best of my whole 2 months of travels in Italy. The setting is a delight. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak English. I was nervous about visiting a big city. This hotel felt like a peaceful haven Highly recomend

Everything perfect for me 😊

The hotel is beautiful, there is a nice garden where you can have drinks/breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty, a good selection of pastries, yoghurts, fruits etc and the lady also offered us eggs and omelette as they have a kitchen downstairs. The room is very big, exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfy. The staff is so so kind and friendly! Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night, hopefully we can stay longer for the next visit! Can't fault anything, we hope to be back soon!

The air con was a bit noisy when we turned it on, but we didn't have it on the whole night anyway, so it wasn't bothering us much.
