The location is slightly uphill but the harbour area is accessible in 10 minutes by walk. The checkin is automated where in you need to call a number once you get to the property and you are let in to the building. The key locker is located outside the room and the code is communicated via WhatsApp. The hosts have organised everything to ensure a hassle free checkin and room access. The breakfast is at organised at a cafe in the harbour area and coupons are provided. It included either coffee or fruit juice along with a croissant. Daily house keeping and change of towels was fixed for 10am. Phone call communication incase of issues coming up was not possible as hosts spoke mainly Italian and they preferred text messaging which worked well for us. The wifi internet worked fine. Sweet treats were provided each morning in the dining area and after check out we were allowed to leave our bags there for a few hours. Lots of restaurants and couple of grocery stores in the area.

The flush button in the toilet popped out on couple of times but it was east to put back and then we were extra careful while using it. The fixed 10 am house cleaning time was a little pain for our 9 year old on one occasion as she was tired by the previous day excursions.

Although the place is small, we had everything we needed, including access to a small kitchen. We found useful the self check-in option because we arrived late in the night. There are free parking options near the ferry station if you arrive by car.

You could hear anything from the bathroom (when using the toilette), the door isn't that good at noise cancelling, so you don't have that much privacy when you travel in a couple. Maybe ask your partner to go take a walk or prepare a tea in the kitchen. 😅

The room was light, spacious and spotless clean. The check-in process was super smooth and the hosts were very attentive. The property is located just a short walk from the centre and has a great view of the port.

the location was nice, the room had all the essentials, including a balcony. it was a quiet place. maddalena islands have spectacular beaches. i highly recommend that area for beaches

it seemed a little expensive for what was offered. the breakfast is very basic. the check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. it was through WhatsApp but then they email you the door codes and the email went to my spam folder. if the initial communication was through whatsapp, why not provide the door codes through whatsapp as well? the host welcoming was a bit rushed.

Noise during the morning

The communication and the owners were great. The process went very smoothly and the check in was clear. The location of the place is also great. Airco works very well.

The pillows were very uncomfortable, the shower head wouldn't stay in place and would constantly slide down. It was not mentioned that the breakfast was off site and that includes only one cofee and a croissant. The front door opens by calling a number so it requests you to always have your phone with you.
