Hotel Ristorante La Perla

Located 20mins from Milan airport in quiet countryside. It has a lovely family atmosphere with rooms located around the pool. Staff were really helpful in advice on where to park and how to visit local attractions. Perfect for Milan, Como and Arona

Having read previous reviews we were a bit worried about what we were going to get but went with an open mind which really helped. Yes, the hotel is old and accommodation could do with an upgrade, however the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels etc and have everything you need This is reflected in the price being reasonable. Again, the staff are really kind and helpful and it had a lovely family atmosphere and a beautiful location

We liked the breakfast

We ordered a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. There was a delay of the flight and I didn’t want the driver to wait for us so I continued to update including the flight number. We landed at 3:15am instead of 1:15am, the driver was supposed to wait with a sign. But when we arrived he was not there, when I called he said he would come in An hour ie, 4:15am. Meaning an hour late. We couldn’t take a taxi because the room key were with the driver. So we found ourselves waiting in The middle of the night with children who did not sleep the entire flight on the floor of the airport waiting for the taxi. Needless to say that we didn’t even get an apology when he finally arrived an hour late. No apology from the hotel either. The hotel room itself was fairly clean.

That's a shame this hotel is not more famous ! Would it be possible to rate it higher than 10 ? We booked it only because it was nearby the airport, but when we arrived, we started to regret we had to leave ! Seriously, not able to tell what was the best : staff who welcomed us as family, typical food, room-appartment with private terrasse and pool view, decoration of the area, huge gardens with lots of flowers... The price is a funny joke, with taxes, parking and breakfast all included ! In France, there are 5 stars hotels " relais et châteaux " with really much less to offer than this AMAZING hotel-ristorante, we highly recommend it, even if it is only to eat in this beautiful restaurant ! If we ever have to go back to this area of Italy, this will be our hotel, no questions asked !

Our stay there was too short !

everything was perfect ! spacious room, meal was amazing but what I loved most was staff especially Eri! We were travelling with a baby and she even prepared food for him😍. was all time asking if we needed anything else also giving us advices about places we should visit around. hotel also offered free shutter to pick us up and send us back to airport for free. also traveled around with less money than usual taxi. thank you 🙏

breakfast was poor actually. Also as there are no taxi around i would suggest renting a car ( which we didn’t) or use service of the hotel.

The service was amazing, we booked last minute because we were stranded. As soon as we booked we got a phone call to check if we needed airport pick up. They also kept their restaurant open longer so we could still have a meal after our delayed flight

Behind the restaurant theres a staircase towards the toilets, it really smelled like gas there, i think because of the system that i just out of the window. Those bathrooms also werent really well maintained.

The hotel is in a nice location. We had a very nice 3 course meal in the restaurant which was good value. The swimming pool looked very nice although we didn't get in! Had a nice coffee at the pool.

We didn't realise initially the we were not to have a room in the hotel itself but there were rooms around the swimming pool which was fine. We could have slept upstairs or downstairs on a bed settee. As my husband would have to go to the loo in the night the stairs was not appropriate. The bed settee was not very comfortable.

I loved how easy the free shuttle from Malpensa airport was and the great communication from the hotel staff. The facilities were very calm and peaceful and the staff were very friendly and eager to help meet my needs.

The breakfast could have been a bit better and more robust, I think it would be very fitting for how nice the rest of the facility was. I found it lackluster and the coffee was not great.

Such Friendly staff. Excellent communication with host! Comfy upstairs bed, good shower, excellent breakfast, beautiful location. 15 minutes or so by shuttle. Our flight was very late, but there was no problem picking us up at 01.30am and the driver even took us to our room door. (Pay a small surcharge after midnight pickup, but worth it).

Maybe have tea/coffee facilities in the room?

Very friendly and helpful staff in a near by location of the airport (MXP). They assisted with picking us up at night from the airport and back in the morning for renting a car. The apartments are OK, the upper level has no air-conditioning so quite hot during the summer and the sofa bad wasnt comfortable. Breakfast was nice not with big variety of food. Overall served our purpose well for the late night flight and starting our vacation during the light hours

The people and the service at the Hotel were fantastic. Everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us. They offered a fantastic airport shuttle service. The hotel is set in a lovely location and offers a good meal. We spent a lovely evening at the Hotel La Perla before flying home the next day. Definitely recommended for anyone who is flying from Malpensa Airport.

All was good. There was not anything we did not like at the hotel. It was definitely worth staying here.
