Good location, plenty of amenities available at reception.
The key cards could do with an update, I struggled to get the door open when I inserted the card. Also the slot to insert your card to turn on the electricity is beside the bed rather than the door, meaning you have to stumble through the dark to find it

- Very eco conscious: cleans room every 3 days unless requested - Strict with time (e.g. you have to wait for the 2PM check-in time even if there is only 30 mins left; breakfast exactly opens at 6:30AM on the dot) - Besides park, temple and parking lots; crossing the park will get you to city hall and prefectural building
- A bit of a walk from JR Fukui station (there are other hotels that are right outside train station) - A bit of a walk from supermarket, bars/restaurants and department stores - There was a small cockroach (that I had to kill) when I opened the vanity drawer

A nice hotel in Fukui city with decent facilities and comfortable rooms. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the are so you won't be limited in options to enjoy yourself. I only one night but it was good enough for a place to rest.

The fridge in the room did not work despite having turning the switch to 'on'. Thankfully, I only needed to store my drinks in the fridge which wasn't necessary. The room was also advertised as a non-smoking room but there was a slight tobacco smell. It wasn't unpleasant and the room had been cleaned and deordorised sufficiently, but it could still be smelt.

I liked everything!! They have a full stand in the lobby for extra amenities you can take for free - from shower caps to salt baths! I really got to relax . Was very comfortable. Wished I could stay for more

The hotel was in a great location. I was able walk to most places in the city I wanted to go to.
I got very warm overnight and I was unable to open the window. The hotel has central heating so you can't use the AC if the hotel is operating on heating that night.
