location - with 20+ bus routes in few minutes walk and reach most of the tourist areas in 30 minutes! Room - a small couch for 2 and good lighting for reading lobby - large sitting area with many travel books You can pick up the consumables at the lobby. ie comb and tooth bush, etc. They sell travel passes at the reception Few minutes walk to Fresco, a medium sized supermarket with many cooked foods!

they charge JPY400/day on top of the payment to booking.com (May be the agreement between the hotel and booking.com) The cost should be stayed on the web site rather than something like ... may be charge....)

This is a great stay, great location and great facility with super price 👍 strongly recommend, good quality and new. The check in and check out process went smoothly, room is very clean with ok space. The bathroom is with bathtub (my favorite part) and shampoo and shower gel are all herbal smell. I forgot to bring teeth brush but you can get all including pajama in the lobby. There is a room where provides hot water, microwave and ice at first floor. Wifi is quick. My family is very satisfy with this hotel. Turn left you can go to Gion and the department store area, turn right you can go to bus stop and subway. Lots of cafe nearby and 7-11 is at the corner. If you take taxi from Kyoto station it cost around ¥1600 and it takes within 10 mins. This is a pleasant stay.

There was no breakfast. Rooms were clean, staff was very helpful, accessibility of bus as well as trains were fantastic.. Loved the way staff helped for tour navigation.. overall it was great hotel

We enjoyed our 5 nights stay at this hotel. The location is great with various bus lines within walking distance. The room was big enough for us and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was also very quite which allowed us to sleep comfortably. Overall it's a simple hotel without too much to offer but for us it was exactly what we needed.

Nothing bad to say. If you are looking for a calm hotel in a good location then i recommend considering this hotel.

Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were small, but very clean and new. A great choice for value conscious travelers.

Hotel wasn’t extremely close to most tourist attractions. You’ll likely be taking public transit for 30-50 minutes to reach your destination.

Very good value for money! Staff was nice and helpful, room was small but comfy, good heater so the room was warm within minutes, solid bathroom. I assume the location is good - a subway line around the corner, restaurants etc. But if you have the Japan rail pass please consider the next JR line is about 20 min away.

It is nothing major - the shower took a few moments to get warm. It would have been nice to get umbrellas provided during heavy rains.

Extremely clean and small building block at a quite area yet easy to travel to other tourist spots. The staff are helpful when I asked for spoons for example and gave me map with good advise. Its the best place we had stayed during our trip in Japan this summer.

Maybe one extra laundry machine to reduce the waiting time.

Bed was really comfortable. it’s a great location. there’s multiple forms of transport around the hotel. Plenty of buses to get you where you need to go. Short taxi ride to/from Kyoto station if you have big bags. Room was clean and decent size for Japan. Location is a short walk 15 minutes to Gion for good restaurants and close to the market too. Staff were genuinely helpful. They booked both a taxi and restaurant for us and were more than helpful during our stay.

There was an additional city tax charged when we arrived. Booking.com clearly states all taxes and charges are included. This error is more booking.coms fault than the hotel. The charge wasn’t expensive so don’t worry.

The hotel looks really new and the design was well done. It wasn't difficult to find the hotel and there are nearby convenience store, super market, nice dinner place. The room was clean, smells good, good WiFi connection and good pillow.

The sound proofing isn't the best, to be honest. I can constantly hear people opening and closing the doors, but it is not loud enough to disturb my sleep. I don't quite like the way they place the smoking room at the lobby area. I can still smell people smoking and that actually stopped me from wanting to go down to the lobby to sit around. Finally, the toilet can be a little small to my liking. But still, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a reasonable price, clean and neat hotel.

The location was near a bus stop which made our transfers really easy. Also nears to shops, supermarkets etc. The hotel had a nice modern design such as the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

I think the only disadvantage was a message that I got 2 times from the hotel regarding my payment. It was a scam email/message that was sent to me and said to click on a certain link to proceed with the payment. I am very careful for scams and try to stay aware but the message was sent both from the hotel and booking.com so I didn’t questioned it at first. The hotel apologised for the inconvenience but I think that they must have a safer environment for their costumers regarding the payment. It can be a very stressful procedure.
