The rooms are spacious, the room design, and the view were all great. Great breakfast selections, my booking did not include a breakfast, but there were 3 restaurants at the hotel which offered that, one of which was a buffet. I got a recommendation by booking.com to have a shower box, it was not clear if the bathtub had a shower (both did) when switched my booking i found that my room as both a bathtub and a shower box, which was convenient Staff are super friendly The building is a ring shape, where I believe all rooms have a an amazing view of Takaragaike area. The center is a garden. My room view was of trees.

When we checked out, we found that we have been charged for an additional 11000 for buffet breakfast. But we didn’t have that meal. The staff checked this for a long time, like 30 minutes, and later told us it might be a mistake from their restaurant staff. During the period, no one make an apology to us and we just waited and waited for their very slow response. It’s an unpleasant experience.

Nice quiet room. Option to grab my luggage at Kyoto central station when leaving, gave me the option for sight seeing at the day of departure without hassle. Close to the conference centre.

The three restaurants did not have space at the day of arriving, so i had to go to the city for dinner. Not many options around the hotel anyway. Paid breakfast was way too expensive.

The room is excellent and very comfortable. It is big in comparison to many places in Japan. The location is very near to the public transport and the area is very quiet.

The place is far from the city center.

A lovely hotel, really no e spacious rooms, nicely decorated, a great and good bathroom. The concierge managed to find me a lovely Michelin Star restaurant and post a package back home to me. An excellent stay

The buffet breakfast was less good. The à la carte was much better

A very short walk from Kyoto International Conference Centre, it's ideal for events. Interesting and historic hotel. Comfortable.

While a great location for the conference centre, there isn't much around locally, no restaurants and bars. Disappointing that the hotel bar shut at 10pm.

Beds were excellent, very quiet at night, location was great, underground train very close, nice buffet breakfast

Carpet in the rooms, breakfast was super expensive

Beautiful setting, and quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful.

On-site restaurant required reservations and difficult to navigate if non Japanese speaking.

Rooms are large and very comfortable with a beautiful view. Furniture and fittings felt well considered and new.

Just would be nice to have a pool or onsen
