Matsue Urban Hotel

The hotel was located close to the station so very convenient for public transport and the shops. Our room was in the corner so had a very nice view. It was also very clean and the bed was comfortable too. Staff seemed very friendly, we had a lovely stay.

The room looked a bit dated but everything was working ok. The reception area was nice though, looked quite new and modern.

Close proximity to JR train and bus station. Although not much parking at the hotel they have an arrangement with a multi storey park very close by. All facilities good. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff very courteous and helpful.

The breakfast was small, compared to American meals, but satisfying if you add a little rice and tea.

The size of the rooms were small but there's nothing you can do about that. It's also typically small, because Japan has smaller rooms overall.

bath room is very small. they sold laundry ditergent but it's smalls too strong.

An extremely nice hotel near the Matsue station.. clean rooms, very polite and friendly staff and good amenities.. definitely recommended

Room size could have been more

Everything was good. Facilities/amenities provided were up to the mark. Also bicycles were provided by the hotel was cherry on the cake.

The location is very good. The room is very clean. They provide many kinds of free living supplies, which is very convenient.

The bathtub is too small. The soundproofing of the room is not very good, and you can easily hear the footsteps outside the door.

The hotel location is nearby JR and the car-hire shops. it satisfied me with the availability so much. Also, we can find lots of fine Japanese restaurants of fresh seafood and beef near there.

The bathroom is a bit on the nose.

An excellent choice in downtown Matsue for those travelling for a few days. While there are comparable competitors in the immediate area, for the right price, this accommodation could be your number one choice. Indeed, I plan to return here in the future.

The bathroom was very small, even compared to Japanese standards. Also, at the end of the bed there was the TV stand, so tall people will find the length of the bed insufficient. Nevertheless, these are very minor inconveniences what are almost unnoticeable during a short period of stay.
