Walking distance from narita station. Restaurants and bars nearby, but you'd have to walk a bit to the nearest convenience store. It's a small guest house, no fancy amenities, but provided for what i needed. My room was small, but comfortable and i appreciated the english instructions for the AC/heater remote. Toilet and bathrooms were clean. I didnt meet the staff because they had a self-check in and out process set up, but they made sure I got my codes and had my slippers and room ready when I got there. I would stay here again when I'm in the area.

Nothing I can think of. It provided for what I needed and gave me a nice comfortable stay.

What a fantastic little accomodation! I stayed here just before and after my flights at Narita airport. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the accommodation to the train station, and then a 7 min train ride to the airport. Really convenient spot if you need to have easy access to the airport. There is an abundance of awesome Japanese restaurants around the area too! The accomodation is super affordable and has a great traditional Japanese vibe to it. The rooms have air conditioning. There are individual showers and bathrooms as well for privacy :) I stayed here during the tail-end of winter and was cozy the entire time. It’s so tranquil when you first step into the peaceful reception area, with some warm atmosphere, tranquil music and great aromas. Not a party hostel at all, seems to be very respectful, peaceful and quiet - perfect place to relax before / after a flight at Narita airport. Will definitely stay here again in the future if I am in Narita.

Beds were a little thin and pillow was really uncomfy :(

Out of all the places we stayed Narita Sandos Guesthouse was the only place that had a proper luggage storage. We were able to drop off our bags before check in and go for a wander, which was great. Also, really lovely waiting area with AC where you can eat and chill out. Everything was clean and really comfortable. Loved that the shared dorm beds had curtains and were really private.

It was really hot weather when we went to visit, and the upstairs toilets felt like saunas most of the time. However, this was something I found in common with several properties and definitely no slight on Narita Sando guesthouse. Also, people tend to come in for a one day stopover and go to bed early, so might be a bit awkward for night owls. Would definitely book my brother and I a private room next time since I felt we were kind of a sound nuisance having to get up in the middle of the night for stuff.

It’s a small property in an older Japanese style architecture and a spacious common room to relax in while waiting for check in, plan the day, or after check out to have someplace to be. We spent two nights in a room with a private bathroom and shower and futon mattresses. The AC worked perfectly and was wonderful to have during the heat wave that struck Tokyo and Chiba prefecture. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed at this guest house because we wanted to start our trip in Japan with a place close to the Narita airport so that we could relax our first couple of days and plan our steps for the Tokyo accommodation as well as have a chance to beat the inevitable jet lag. Narita is a small town with a beautiful temple park close by which I highly recommend everyone to visit. As well as explore the surrounding area for different bars and restaurants. Most places have English menus but I would suggest that you learn basic Japanese phrases for ordering. Everyone was incredibly helpful and service minded without being imposing. I highly recommend this quiet guest house and we will most definitely be back!

It could’ve been clearer that the property’s entrance is never locked which can be a bit scary for travelers with lots of luggage. They have a luggage room for guests to use after check out but big luggages can’t be locked in, only placed in the room. There is a security camera in every common space which makes up for it a bit.

Convenient location, traditional japanese style with tatami and futon, kitchen has water filter to provide drinkable water. I reccomend this place. I liked the contactless checkin/checkout where i just got lock pin code to my email. But the checkin form was probably unnecessarily long (unlike other hotels where they just send you without too many questions)

PU Leather futon is not extremely comfortable choice in hot sweaty weather (even when there is linen on it), but given the rooms have AC it's not a big deal and after all it's probably even bit more hygienic, since unlike matresses, the leather can be easily wiped between guests.

Very charming neighbourhood, lovely interior, very clean and comfortable and lots of provisions even for such an affordable price - water, hairdryer, toiletries, toothbrush, towels, even hair curlers. The security felt safe for me (solo female traveller). There were also very clear instructions put up everywhere to make it easy for guests.

There were 2 groups of guys making a lot of noise even up to 2am.. The guesthouse has signs to keep quiet after 10pm, but because of the wooden structure, you can hear the next rooms very easily. So if you're a light sleeper (like me) the quality of your stay will depend on the other guests. I guess the staff can't really enforce the rules anyway, since they aren't around 24/7. I understand it's more the fault of inconsiderate guests, rather than the guesthouse.

It's a self-check-in accommodation near Narita Airport. I did not meet the owner or any receptionist but they will guide you through email/inbox. The place is close to the train station (it's walkable). Also, the ambiance is nice, they have a traditional house and they have good amenities. I did my laundry as well for ¥300 and ¥100 for the dryer. Close to 7/11 and shops. I also noticed some bars around but my flight is early so I haven't tried it. If you have an early flight at Narita airport, I recommend staying here.

I can't think any.

Budget accommodation near Narita Airport. Self check-in and check-out are both smooth and easy. Really convenient! Shower rooms are limited but I was lucky to be able to use them while most are still asleep. Toiletries, bath towels, and slippers are provided for.

Stayed in a dormitory-type room. Beds are a bit squeaky. Can't choose bunk beds. Expect active nightlife around the area but still quite safe walking alone.

I can see why this place has 5 stars now! I am very skeptical when it comes to shared/dormitory style Airbnbs or stays, but this place was super cozy. I was only here for one night, but I instantly felt right at home. This is a combination of dorm x private room where everything BUT the sleeping area is shared. There's no issue with that tho, because you can tell that they put in a lot of effort to clean every single day. They are very accommodating, and it is easy to follow the house rules if you are considerate person. As a girl, I was here traveling alone, but I felt very safe since there is a lock for each sleeping room, and there is a security camera on 24/7 around the common areas. DOWNSTAIRS: When you first step inside the inn, you are hit with a very refreshing, sweet, and calm aroma from the humidifier. There is a light, calming music that makes you feel right at home and it fits the theme of the traditional style. You take off your shoes and put on indoor shoes for the upstairs and common areas, so it ensures that everywhere else stays clean. They have marked slots with your name and room number (2 per room) so you know which one is yours. I thought that was very cute! In the hallway between the front and back, there is a wall of paper cups, a cold thermos, and a hot water boiler. There is a bag of sugar if you need it (for coffee I'm presuming), and a microwave for your food. They have a shared fridge section in the back for your food, and a marker to label your things. There is also a designated area towards the back for you to put your luggage and do your laundry. I thought that was especially helpful since I was on the 2nd Floor and had 2 big luggages. The lockers that they have are a little small, so you best have your own lock for your luggage if you are worried about safety. (Tho they also have a 24/7 security camera in this room, so you can feel more at ease).

The dryer heat is a little lower than I expected. My one load took 1h 40min to fully dry when it usually takes me only 50min back home. This could be because I had a few sweatshirts in there (which is heavy), or the dryer heat is low. It costs 100Yen per 20min though, so I spent 500Yen on drying it, which is not TOO bad I guess?

Clean and organised. I arrived late at night and the room code and instructions helped me check in by myself smoothly. I informed the staff of my late arrival and they're very responsive and accommodating. I like the fact that I can put my luggage at the storage area on the ground floor, and only use my small bag in my room on the 2nd floor. I can't imagine dragging my luggage through the stairs at night. There are 2 train stations nearby, JR and Keisei. The Keisei line takes about 15 mins to the airport. My destination, terminal 1 was the 2nd stop.

The mattress and pillow could be improved to something softer and more comfortable. It's too hard for my liking.
