APA Hotel Ogaki Ekimae

I liked a lot the location, very close to the station so easy to move to cities around like Gifu.

- The breakfast was good but I missed more variety of food (specially western) but is not too bad since that is very common in Japan to be honest so I enjoyed it anyway. - There is an Open Bath but requires to cover your tattoo (in the reception desk they give you free cover stickers). Is a little annoying but is something usual in Japan so you need to accept it. In the end, is something you need to be aware that may happen to you so it isn’t a big deal for me. - Like all APA Hotels, the rooms are small but very efficient. To some travelers this could be a little annoying but in my opinion is big enough to use it comfortably.

Excellent location - right in front of the central station. Smooth check-in and check-out. Very good breakfast. The room was clean and well-furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. I really liked that there were many lights in the room - this made the room bright and positive. There is also a spa/ big common bath.

I wish the spa/ big common bath was a little cleaner and bigger. The sauna could fit only 2 people and the open-air bath could only fit 1, maximum 2 people.

The hotel is literally next to Ogaki Station. There is a good variety of restaurants and shops in the station and nearby. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and came with many amenities! My favorite part was the bed--it was roomy and comfortable!

The bathroom was roomy, but the space between the side of the bed and desk was very narrow. I expected it to be a small room, but I always hope for more space ;) The strangest thing was the door to the room--the way the door opened was awkward and a tight squeeze because of the bathroom wall/corner being right at the edge of the door as it is opened.

I think the property is classic, staff were so nice and spoke good English. The Spa was awesome 👌.

the room I chose wasn’t enough to accommodate me and my partner,I think that room fits less than two…Me and my partner couldn’t feel comfortable in the room with our travel bags but we had to manage because I loved the property .

A decent but older APA business hotel, with small but useful onsen on the upper floor (e.g. while doing laundry nearby). It was fine.

Walls in room were a little thin (someone was snoring in next room quite loud). Maybe unlucky.

The public bathroom was not crowded, clean and beyond expectation.

The room and the towel have very strong smell of tobacco which is the only minus point.

Located by train station. Nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Pay parking on site. Walking distance to Ogaki Castle. Easy train ride to Gifu Castle and its city activities.
