Right next to the Train Station Entrance. Amazing Location. Easily walk to plenty of eating locations. Close proximity to everything in Osaka. Surprisingly quiet at night even with the gaming club and Chinese restaurant downstairs.

I didn't like the limited size of the bathroom, specifically the shower/bathtub size. Could be difficult if your a bigger person than me at 180cm and an athletic build. Fine if your smaller. Bathroom serves its purpose.

it is right outside the subway exit, so it was very convenient and easy to find. It's also walking distance to Shinsaibashi, and it is quite easy to get to Umeda and Osaka station from there.

There was literally no mattress - it was just a box spring, and hard as a rock. The pillow was filled with some kind of plastic beads, and was very uncomfortable. Both my neck and back hurt all day long from using it. I understand this is a budget hotel, but surely they can afford mattresses and proper pillows. The room was also quite dark, as there were not enough lights in the room. Strangely, there was no light near the mirror, which made it difficult to see in order to do my hair and makeup. I also was woken up numerous times during the night because there are bars nearby, and at closing time people spilled out into the street laughing and shouting. This is not the fault of the hotel; but some guests may want to request rooms on a higher floor. One other thing: I had to argue with the desk clerks, because they wanted to make a photocopy of my ID. I'm a permanent resident of Japan, and asking this is illegal under Japanese law as it is an invasion of privacy. Photocopying of a passport for non-resident foreign travelers is standard, but residents of Japan do not have to submit to this procedure. That exchange left me feeling quite upset. I have little doubt they will continue to ask this of foreign guests. I would recommend refusing, as hotel operators need to learn to treat non-Japanese guests with the same respect as they treat their Japanese guests. Japanese guests would not submit to such a procedure, so we should not either.
