Hotel MYSTAYS PREMIER Dojima

The hotel room offered comfortable beds, a small table used for eating in the room, laundry facilities. The location was very close to a lively dining and nightlife district and walking distance to the train station and the nearby malls, all very exciting and bustling. But the hotel is on a quiet street. There's a Seven Eleven on the ground floor of the hotel building, which is very useful!

The hotel is in a convenient location in the vicinity of the Osaka Station, and you can either walk (10 to 15 minutes) there or take a metro from the subway station which is on the main street from the hotel. The staff are super nice and amazing, and even though checking in is not allowed before 15h, our room was cleaned so we were able to be accommodated earlier. There is the option to leave your luggage at reception and go around the city in case the room is not ready. The rooms are spacious, and quite comfortable. The beds are bigger than other hotels we stayed at. The lightning could be little improved, although it was still fine if you turn the desk lamp around. Your room is refreshed every day, and even if you have the DND sign on the door, the staff will leave clean towels on the door, something that we have not seen in other places. There are a couple of restaurants right next to the hotel, Family Mart and 7 Eleven right at the entrance, The bathrooms are larger than other places, so you can really relax here and enjoy in the tub filled with warm water. As this hotel is part of the Mystays Premier hotel chain, I can definitely say that it is way above the standards and we would certainly stay here once we are in Osaka again.

The staff was really nice and the bed really comfortable.

Unlike other stays, the hotel didn’t advertise nor privately inform us in advance about construction work going on in the surrounding roads. Had we stayed a couple more nights, A/C systems construction work inside the building would have been added into the mix. Considering the place was pricy-ish, this was somewhat annoying to find out. But maybe it’s just the high standards set by prior accommodations we had booked.

We stayed in the queen room and the room size was excellent for a couple. The location was also excellent being an 8-10 min walk to Osaka station and a 15-20 min subway to dotonburi.

The pillows were a bit on the small side and not super comfortable. Also worth noting this hotel does not include a laundry, though they do have laundry service. All of the lights in the room are controlled by one switch next to the bed. It would be good to be able to turn some lights on and off individually like the lamp without the whole room lights.. These are all pretty minor though.

The hotel staff service was definitely worth applauding. They are polite and very helpful where I needed help with luggage transfer for my group. I love the shower facilities and the amenities provided in the room, especially the nice scent of the shampoo / conditioner and shower gel. Location is excellent and the convenience shop at the ground floor makes it better!

The entrance of the hotel from street level is rather discreet. May have to pay attention to look for it .

The position is great. The hotel is just in front of the exit of the subway. You can arrive to the hotel from Osaka train station by walking through the underground passage, very convenient if it is raining or extremely hot. The room was bigger than japanese standards and we could comfortably fit in two people with big luggage. The room was sparkling clean. Staff very helpful.

There was sometimes little noise from the street and from the corridor. Nothing dramatic, we could sleep well.

Location was good. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, we tried the Japanese and western varieties over our 10 day stay.

Walls seemed thin compared to another places we’ve stayed, making it a pretty noisy hotel. There was a lot of city noise too (and we have previously stayed in Shibuya above the scramble). We found it frustrainv why, having booked and paid for two rooms that included breakfast for family of four (our kids considered adults by age and charged accordingly) we were told they had to pay additional for kids at breakfast.

Talk about the hardware, it's not a brand new hotel but everything was kept so clean by their professional Japanese housekeepers, I could tell they like their jobs and that makes this hotel different to the others. Secondly, nice size room, super comfy mattress and extremely selected foam pillows. Nevertheless, the breakfast of panini with bacon and egg is the best, then seafood panini, then salmon traditional. I'm not used to write a review, but I have to do it this time as a return for all your hard work you put it. Whoever wants a hotel nearby Osaka station and also smoking and 2 blocks away from the bus station to the 2 airports, this is your hotel Lol

No coin laundry room, I meant I didn't see it. The fridge was somehow not cold enough The safe was working The air purifier was needed to cleaned

Breakfast was lovely and the woman making it was very accommodating. We were able to change our pre-chosen menu which was handy with a child. The shop at the hotel was handy.

The hotel was a little bit of a walk from the station. This wouldn't be an issue for adults but kids might struggle a little. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel as we were unsure how to book and no info was given about this at check in. Some water in the room or coffee rather than just tea with no milk or sugar would have been nice.

The Location is great. The Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The Room was amazing and very well looked after by Housekeeping Staff.

The Breakfast was quite a bit of a let down. The Japanese Style Breakfast was disappointing, seemed like a microwave reheated meal. The Bacon Egg Roll was good, but it's an extremely limited breakfast. The Breakfast Staff though were extremely helpful and polite.
