The size of everything was lovely. Awesome shower, big and had Bluetooth for music! The bed was very comfortable too. The rooftop area was beautiful and had plenty of seating. The staff were so lovely! We sent our luggage from Tokyo and had an issue with one of the bags being delivered and the staff were so helpful! They called to check on the tracking since we did not speak enough Japanese to and we did not have to wait about in the room for it to be delivered either. The staff were always smiling and happy! We felt very welcome! Not to mention the pjs are soo cute!!

The only thing I would change is the balcony had room for 2 chairs but there was only 1 and a small stool. 2 chairs would be much better and it would have been more comfortable for us to spend time there. We did want to sit in the balcony, especially first thing in the morning or late evening but it was wasn’t comfortable to sit on the stool for long.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were huge compared to a typical hotel room in Japan. I was able to walk between two metro stations very easily which made getting around the city very easy. The Lawsons across the road was an absolute life saver! And there are loads of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a sushi restaurant which looked amazing though I didn’t use it because I had already booked other plans. The general vibe of the room was great. If we come back to Osaka we will definitely stay here again!

I bought a JR pass for the time I was in Osaka but didn’t use it because the hotel is between two metro stations which aren’t on the JR line. Something to keep in mind if you’re looking to use a JR pass while staying here. The other thing I didn’t like were the pillows. One was too soft and the other too hard.

The number one thing that impressed me about The Boly was the amazing service. We lost something on our last night in town at one of the local shopping centers. The lost and found at the mall took down our hotel info, but as we were leaving early the next morning, we had dismissed our chances of getting it back. Later that night we received an email from the night manager at The Boly that the mall folks had contacted them and that they had personally gone to pick it up for us at the mall. We were amazed and delighted. Japanese customer service is excellent in general, but this was beyond our wildest expectations. We also appreciated the location of the hotel and cleanliness of our room. There is also a very nice rooftop terrace for sipping coffee and looking out at the lights of Osaka.

The access to the rooms is a little funky as you need to check in on the 6th floor via a teeny-tiny elevator. The stairwell between the rooms (and I believed it is shared with floors which do not contain hotel spaces) is a bit industrial. But the lobby, the rooms and the rooftop terrace are all clean, comfortable, modern and very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Osaka.

Modern, comfortable, clean hotel located in a good part of the city. We had a river view which was lovely. Reception is on the 6th floor, the reception team who looked after us were professional and helpful. The bathroom is generous, with excellent water pressure in the shower. The hotel is close to two metro stations one of which only a few stops from the Shin Osaka train station. It’s a maximum of 10 minutes walk from each station to the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant is good with a lovely atmosphere overlooking the river.

Breakfast was a little repetitive, at least another choice would have been appreciated. Better instructions for the use of the air conditioning in the room would be helpful.

I love the interior design! the industrial theme was pretty. They did not have any bathtub in my room, but that's okay! I paid for the room that has city view. I asked if I could get a room change to the rivew view (the river view was BEAUTIFUL), but I had to pay extra, so I canceled my intention. It's still beautiful, though. I would love to come back here if possible. Ah, they gave us a disclaimer, that since the building was above subway lines, there might be vibration and noise, but I honestly did not feel it. I had a very nice stay.

Not the thing I dislike, but I hope they provide signed-in Netflix, heheh.

A modern hotel, close to several subway lines. The room was spacious and clean with great views over the river and super comfy beds. There is a rooftop area and you can buy drinks downstairs at the bar if you fancy a breeze and a chill. The staff were so helpful booking airport taxi's for us and helping to return our pocket wifi (p.s. definitely get a pocket wifi for exploring so you have access to maps/subway routes etc when you're out and about - costs about 350 yen £1.75, per day online). If you don't need a room clean you will get fresh towels and water dropped by your door. Anything else you need just ask at reception. The ladies we spoke to were amazing and provided maps with restaurant recommendations and all sorts. 10/10 and thank you for our stay x Oh - and the Bluetooth shower kept my 13yr old boy much cleaner than he's ever been 🤣🤣🤣 have ordered one for our house after staying here!!!

Nothing - great spot

There was a lovely rose garden nearby, and a pleasant walk along the river. There was a roof garden to enjoy the sunshine in. Osaka was very clean and in good repair. The shower worked well. Our family got the room next door, which was very convenient.

The window did not open. this made the room stuffy at night. The fan was too noisy to leave on overnight. The room was smaller than we expected. We had not fully realised that Japan is a small crowded island.

It's a great location --- very convenient to sites, public transportation, and many neighborhood bars and restaurants. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Temperature was easy to control and the bathroom is very nice with lovely products to use. There are also cute touches such as pyjamas and a personalized welcome note.

There is a low hum in the hotel from the subway, but I was fine with ear plugs (and I'm a light sleeper). The lobby could also use a bit more decoration. Feels sparse.

The hotel room was spacious and clean.

Overpriced. We had many other much better stays during our trip in Japan at a much lower price. We didn’t get a pillow and blanket for our 5-year-old daughter because she was expected to sleep in mother’s bed which was just a regular bed for one person. although we made a booking for 2 adults and 2 kids, just because of her age, the hotel decided not to provide a pillow and a blanket for her although there was a separate couch available for sleeping. When we asked for an additional pillow and blanket, there was a separate charge which we found very unusual and strange.

Perfect for a few days in Osaka: easy to reach from the station and the two main underground lines to the city (e.g. 3 stops to Dotonbori area) are in easy walking distance. The room is spacious with a great bathroom (we loved the shampoo ☺️), there is a bar with free coffee and drinks to buy for consumption on the small rooftop terrace with views across the neighbouring canal with its tourist boats cruising. To top it off, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all a clear recommendation!
