Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort Spa Mizu no Uta

Everything was organised and so easy - the cost covered everything and we didn't have to worry about a thing once we checked in. Things were extremely easy and the hotel had great facilities. Overall, it was exceptional value for what we paid for, including the room, the private onsen, all the included meals and the hotel facility.

The check-in process could be better and more personalised. While the staff were helpful and courteous, some were rather robotic and were not genuine and authentic.

We like BF & DN,there are varieties of food. Staffs are very nice.

Beautiful surroundings. Stayed in the room with private onsen. Very spacious and relaxing. The shared onsen was very spacious and relaxing as well with a sauna, indoor and outdoor baths. The keiseki (set course) dinner we had was exquisite. Their staff were all very nice, well mannered and dedicated to providing each guest with a wonderful experience. We could see that a lot of effort has been put in to create a beautiful atmosphere and wonderful experience right from our arrival.

Not a deal breaker but the vanity area in the washroom in our room was a bit dusty. Besides that, everything was perfect.

Really close to the beautiful Lake Shikotsu and Mt Yotei. Clean property and comfortable bed! Had the best sleep and nap. What we loved and enjoyed most was the buffet dinner and breakfast! Lots of fresh and healthy selections tho was hoping for a pancake station for breakfast. We chose our own pillows too :) Memorable time at this resort. Hope to return someday!

Not much to complain about.

I loved that the property was by a lake. one morning we took a walk around the lake. great scenic and fresh air. very remote. we did enjoy the privacy.

I wished I had a booked a room with private onsen. overall, everything was clean. property slightly far from town. took us more than one hour to get into Sapporo. also they could run the hotel shuttle more frequently since it’s located so far. but hotel shuttle was very limited to certain times of day.

My family's first time at Onsen. Buffet dinner with so many fresh options. Only 24 total rooms on property. Small town with great restaurants to walk to. Unbelievable views of Mount Eniwa and the lake.

Would have loved easier way to book spa appointments in advance. Amazing PJs, wanted to purchase; store didn't have them for sale. Pillows choices amazing, water choices limited.

Fantastic from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Attentive, detail oriented staff. Clean room, clean onsen, amazing buffet, comfortable bed. The vintage JBL Paragon playing Oscar Peterson was the cherry on top.

Only complaint is not even the hotel's fault, a cigarette smoker was outside somewhere for a brief time and their smoke drifted in through our window.

Everything was excellent, fm the service to the well appointed rooms, onsen and meals. The lovely fireplace and marshmallow in the lounge accompanied by the harpist was a plus.

Unfortunately there was a power cut at 10am on the day of check out. Check out was anyways at 10am which we felt was a bit rushed for a morn onsen n breakfast before departure.

Nice, modern, Japanese Style, resort hotel with all that you need, including a nice bathhouse. Convenient for CTS airport but away from the hustle and bustle. 2nd time we used it for this purpose and will do so again

It is my 7th or 8th time stay in this hotel because it is my favorite hotel in Hokkaido, I like its onsen, room and service. Specially the breakfast and dinner are very good quality and variety selection. Staff in this hotel are friendly and attentive too. We enjoyed walking along the lake, listening to the live music after dinner in the lobby at night.
