Hotel Celeste Shizuoka

Staff is very helpful. He came up around 10pm when we had question and he successfully resolved the problem. The room is clean and the clothes included are excellent. The washing and dryer machine is very useful too.

It is not clear how to enter the hotel. Email should be sent instead of relying on the booking.com apps. My booking.com apps does not have message box function and I did not receive any information about the hotel other than the pin code and reservation code in the email. Check out time is 10am when we only entered into the hotel after 10pm.

Spacious room with comfortable beds. Washing machine available for personal use. Functional bathroom equipped with really useful drying option.

We got the first room on the ground floor, right next to the entrance as well as the elevator- automatically it was more noisy than normally during our stay in Japan. But thankfully it was not a problem during the night. There was only one shaded window in the room, which did not bring a lot of light inside, due to that room felt a bit like a basement.

Spacious and not much noise from the street. Reasonably close to the train station, very close to the castle grounds and various shopping places. Dark curtains. Low hassle self checkin. Quick responses via booking messages.

One night the neighbours above started doing who knows what between 2 and 3 am (sounded like moving furniture or something like that), and the noise was very bothersome. Weird lighting setup, not sure I found out how to switch all the lights.

The host will clean the room every 3 days,well preparing everything we need.The location of hotel is convenient and near to the JR,many restaurants and convenient shop.The bed is soft and the TV is 4K and big to watch!My frd and I are enjoying living in the hotel.

The pillow is quite hard for us,I hope there are more soft pillow the host can provide.

Room is new and clean. No lobby and reception. A bit difficult to find the hotel ( actually we went into a nearby private condominium). Also difficult to find and understand public pay parking system. Fortunately the hotel send a person who cannot speak English to help, otherwise we will not be able to manage the self-checkin online and the car park ourselves.

Clean, practical appliances and amenities, responsive host, easy check in and out. The appliances are new, clean and working well. Quiet location yet close to train station.

The sensing zone of the light switch does not cover enough, such as the areas near the door/ outside toilet and the pantry.

Nice size room....adequate amenities.... no staff in property.....well looked after. I would recommend it my friend.

Lights not so straight forward..Especially in the area of the fridge and microwave....light was on time switch and no way to keep the night on when making a snack or cup of tea.

Very comfortable, there was a fridge and a washing machine/dryer in the bathroom, perfect after a longer trip. There's no staff, so you can check in in advance and just enter your info on the screen in the lobby. The whole process was very fast.

A bit further away from the central station, not that convenient if you have big luggage.

We were not informed that there’s no staff attending at the site of the hotel all times when we made booking. We found out about it a day before our arrival.
