Grand Hyatt Amman

This was our second stay here - and it ended up being longer than we booked for due to circumstances outside our control but the staff were very accomodating. The room was on the smaller side but well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. It's a very 'traditional' 5 star hotel decor and will probably need updating soon. The breakfast was good without being great - not enough hot choices and inconsistent standards of coffee. The outdoor terrace is a lovely space to relax after a long day in Amman. The gym is one of the best I've seen in a hotel this size and there is also a steam room, sauna, spa and both indoor and outdoor pools. This was a great set up. I had a massage which was expensive but good quality. We needed another PCR test because of our extended stay and this was quickly and efficiently organised to be done in our room within an hour of requesting it.

The standard of service in the terrace/lounge area was pretty ordinary. While staff were friendly enough, they were exceptionally slow to respond even when the area was probably less than a quarter full. This was in contrast to another bar at a similar hotel in Amman where we had a drink within 5 minutes of being seated. I feel this let the hotel down as the lobby lounge is such an important meeting place.

The breakfast was very good. Maybe add some more natural juices (grapefruit and carrot juices are not for everybody..) The staff at the reception- absolutely incredible, very helpful, and very friendly.

I went with my 4 y/o son at the outdoor pool, at around 16:40. and the staff of Zara Spa told me that children are allowed only until 17:30. I was fine with that, but then, at around 17:20, one member of the staff (the one that told me about the rule) came to the pool and looked at us and then he checked the time on his watch. That was very annoying.

The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful when our luggage was left behind in Doha and had to be delivered on a different flight in the evening. We were extremely grateful to them for helping us to communicate with the airport. The hotel is stylish and in a great location for both Rainbow Street and Downtown. We liked the rooftop bar even though it was quite windy. Our room was of a good size and was comfortable.

The furniture in our room was quite old, especially the armchair which had a lot of stains. This is really a 4 star hotel on international standards rather than 5 stars but we did enjoy our stay.

i liked after we arrived following a long drive from wadi rum to hyatt amman the gentleman that checked me in offered a lovely room, with late check out. we arrived around 7ish in the evening. we were only staying for 1 night but he anticipated that this offer to have a late check out would be necessary. this is exceptional customer service. he also gave me the idea to have a massage in their spa. i got one for my mom. again this is exceptional customer service - upselling. i would definitely return.

the room service messed up our order. came to our room missing the sea bass. however returned with complimentary sweets on the menu and an apology. they were also not bilingual so did not understand english well so the requests were awkward. the small sizes for body wash breakfast not included in the price the delay from the concierge to bring our luggage from the room to the lobby

Lighting in the room was not always sufficient. Also placement of plug points, especially around the sole mirror in the room could be better. There was one plug point near the mirror in the room but there was an oblong shaped glass table in front of the mirror making it impossible to use a hair straightener. Could be better thought through.

The property is outstanding - value for money is excellent as the facilities are extraordinary. There is a spa, which is included under the standard room rate (except for massage, obviously). Breakfast is superb - the best one I had in Jordan by far (much more premium vs. other hotels such as Landmark which is also 5 stars). The staff are friendly and look after guests.

The hotel is facing a motorway. Therefore, if you get any of the rooms facing the motorway, there will be noise. This is something the hotel should pay attention to.

Awesome stay. Very clean hotel. good views from room. Delicious breakfast with lot of varieties. Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially Mr. Saleem from reception desk. Suggested us not only good places to eat also gave us on instructions on how to get there. He assured Jordan is a safest place even for women at night. indeed it’s was beautiful place with beautiful friendly people. Super clean rooms, spotless super white bedsheets etc. Housekeeping also did a good job on keeping the room clean. overall it was a nice stay will look forward to visit again. Mr. Saleem made it more welcome with his friendly , helpful and pleasant attitude. Wanted to give him a gift but he wouldn’t take it. Because that’s part of his job to make the guests comfortable.

The staff are very nice, the hotel is very classy and quiet for people who want to rest and enjoy. The facilities are super. The breakfast is super good, a lot of choice,. The reception will help you with your trips inside or outside of Amman. Many thanks to Hussein our driver that we booked with hotel via hertz.

Everything was good, from the reception to the room, to the spa, to the restaurant, the executive lounge, the bar, the swimming pool. Very nice.

The hotel is big and the gym and Aqua section was a brilliant sauna steam room, swimming pool, the stuff are very friendly from the reception to the service of the room and the Hotel members. The only downside maybe I can find is the price even if it’s not including breakfast thank you

There is no specific things I didn’t like it was brilliant as location and five star hotel. If they can put more restaurant inside would be brilliant as it’s no near restaurants outside.

Large comfortable room with large windows letting in natural light and a view. I liked the fact you could open the window to let fresh air in during the warmth of the day. A supermarket was very close as well as several convenience stores, traditional restaurants & takeaway when you're in a rush. The lobby lounge was very comfortable and I enjoyed a light supper before my flight. The spa & gym area was first class and so very relaxing.
